Updating a will

Hoping not to need it for a bit (although there have been a few pretty stressful games this season) but I do need to update Mrs Claretski and my wills.
We used a will writing service last time but would prefer a local solicitor this time and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.
Thanks

I used Smith Sutcliffe last year, cost about 100 quid for joint wills. Pretty efficient and easy enough.

My fiancée works for Smith Sutcliffe she said always free for a quote and they also do home visits for people who can't get out and about

Just done ours at Smith Sutcliffe in Padiham.
£180 inc VAT for a joint will and was done within 10 days.

I don't know your financial status or indeed any worrisome health problems, but just let me say now, I've been a longtime admirer of your posts. I often enjoy reading them in the time I allow myself from housing stray cats and orphaned kids.

Never delay making a will, you never know when the rug will get pulled from under you.

Before my mum passed away she had been talking about making some will amendments for years. Then she was suddenly taken gravely ill and wasn't in a position to change it.

We all have an idealistic vision sometimes that we'll be in our death beds and have time to reflect peacefully over our lives and make appropriate last minute decisions.

Unless you have a crystal ball and know the exact date and circumstances when you're going to pass then make a will now, tomorrow may be too late

She'd previously used Smith Sutcliffe solicitors and they were excellent, even providing home visits if necessary due to illness

Get to a solicitors to update the will, but to update Mrs Claretski, the world's your oyster depending on what you're after.

Can I ask why you want to update Mrs Claretski?
