That is a good report, sums up the emotion and tensions very well.
Thought I would oblige with a link to the first ever single I bought as an 11 year old
with my paper round money - 6/8d if I remember correctly.

Fair play to Sean, he certainly had the last laugh.
When the team news was revealed on Friday evening I doubt there was a single Burnley fan who predicted the line-up with Gray, JBG, Defour and Brady not in the team.
But, what do we know, the manager got it right again and lots of humble pie was consumed.

It was good to be on the right end of a bad decision for a change with Zaha being flagged offside. Having said that, what a great team performance by all concerned, including the management.
I never get worked up when I am actiually at a game, however, watching it on a stream yesterday I suddenly realised that I was well hyped up at half time. I took my blood pressure and it was 190 over 128 -- plenty of deep breathing and trust in the lads and by about 8 o'clock it was back to normal ---what a win!!
It would be good to get the win which would ensure our survival in front of our own fans ---with apologies to our wonderul support yesterday --as always

Loved the eagle, very different.
We should try something similar at the Turf but with swarms of bees. Not sure how easy it would be to get them back into the hive though

Great report. It's results like that which really make me miss regular Burnley games. Thanks for the insight CT.

Been away for the weekend at a do....but followed on twitter when I could. Watched it back last night on BT recording...I'm staggered how well they all played. Have to admit I was feeling less than hopeful that we were secure, but that was a real effort by all. MotM on viewing the
recording...Vokes for me. Back to the old Sam. And to all you fans that travelled....hats off to you all, Great effort

The beauty or frustration of it is that you never know when the special days are coming. We waited virtually as long for the first away win in our first Premier League season. It was good fun when it came but by then we'd realised it was all but meaningless in terms of points. This one was special for the fact that it was the first win but also because it all but secured our Premier League place.

Great read CT.
Personally I think SD got so many key decisions right this week, particularly the one to play Scott Arfield.
I know Arfield is not everyone's cup of tea but he was terrific on Saturday.
In Sean we trust..
