All the market leaders would prefer some juice in the ground except this one so with Johnson booked looks decent value around the 7/2 mark.

1 55 HOT ROCK 7/1 is another society rock and is well drawn…has already had a run and was a fair 4th at the track….the fav here noble manners ran well at Newmarket when I laid her for a place…even though this is a stiff 5 furlongs I think she would prefer 6f so I want to take her on with a value selection.

2 30 ROCKIN FELLA 6/1…was my each way selection in a good race at Musselburgh where he finished 3rd…this is a drop in class and is well drawn…should place at least…the fav thrifty is from a poor sire so happy to take her on.

3 40 RED CHARMER 12/1 made my notebook on seasonal debut…given an easy time of things at Pontefract…looks good value here.

5 40 I have laid Ivegotthepower @ 5/2…this one has a big knee action and is fav..the ground at bath is described as firm so this one should struggle…one of the few tracks that don’t have a watering system…

want to check markets at lunch and will update by 1 30 if anything else of interest...utc.

I am on at 20/1 on betfair...it was 16/1 at 8 45 this morning so has been well backed...not surprised as it was an eye catching run last time.
