This season we have met Norwegian Clarets and last home game we met Bulgarian Clarets .
It's great out support is growing abroad .
I am wondering who will turn up this week other than the usual suspects

The club shop always seems to be full of foreign visitors buying their souvenirs before each home game. It is impressive.

I bumped into a bunch of youngsters, about 40 of them, after the MUFC match, from New Zealand.

They were all wearing blue tops and had taken in 3/4 PL matches including Liverpool.

I saw a coachload from Glasgow in the 110 Club a couple of months back - they were supporting us, but had invested heavily in the 50/50 scarves.

Said it on another thread. We need to capitalise on this. While united and city will always be bigger than us we can appeal to the catchment area and foreign market by being different.

Local entertainment pre and post match. Local food and drink at the game. Develop the stadium to incorporate other things like bars that open outside match hours. Use the stadium for concerts and youth internationals. Maybe even foreign internationals.

When i moved to America 9 years ago, nobody had heard of Burnley FC and I hated having to explain who they were and what division etc. Now when I am asked the question who I support ( which is very often when they hear the English accent) I can simply reply ( with pride) Burnley

The Prem on NBC Sports has definitely helped. 9 years ago only the hardiest even watched it. Now even in this small town I can walk into a pub and there's Americans cheering for teams, not just British, Mexican and German ex-pats like it was before.
