I was more annoyed that the bstards were yet again going to be breast fed success and remember thinking why them, why not say Coventry, Walsall Sheff U even Preston anyone but them. I never wanted an organisation like the Venkys to buy Burnley as I like our club run by the board who are all clarets at the time you assume its going to be another Abramovich or Sheik Mansoor and they will be gloating at the bought success and boring the @rse of people with back were we belong talk etc.
But boy oh boy am I glad they did :D :D :D :D :D

I was over the moon, one of the things Indians know how to do well is make a proper curry..

They have certainly got Rovers in the pot and are simmering them pretty good.. Won't be long before they are ready to serve them up for administration ..

I remember laughing at the Venkys being paraded on the pitch.
The ******* fans wanted the Walker Trust out, they wanted Alladyce out. The total set of ***** deserve what's happened & more.
And for anyone "embarrassed" by the Long Live the Venkys song...you should remember the vitriol we put up with in the 90's & 00's

I can't remember what I thought at the time, but what I didn't think was for Rovers to be in this financial position after the Venky's have thrown in £200 million of their own money.

I recall transporting an agent from A to B in their last Prem season.

I can't name him, obviously, and he hadn't got a clue who I supported.

Amongst various topics, as he held a phone conversation, my ears pricked up at the mention of that lot - '...but there's no money there...'

That told me all I needed to know. Of course they did have money, but all of it was going on plugging holes and not on investing in players.

I wasn't, always liked being run by local business men with a personal attachment to the club. Wouldn't want that to change even if it made us a top 6 team (for a while).
