Unable to do it until today, the Premier League have just confirmed our place in the league next season with Hull no longer able to catch us.
What a fantastic achievement - and remember who we came up with and where they are going.

Yes magnificent performance, head and shoulders above the other promoted sides, we progressed, they didn't.

indeed. Just said exactly that to mrs NRC sitting here in a coffee shop with me while I trawl uptheclarets (on Mother's Day too - the things she has to put up with).
We achieved, they didn't. Healthy debate on here about performances and frameworks, but ultimately we get to go again next season, and that's the big picture. Congratulations to the entire club.

The only objective this season was to avoid relegation. Great achievement from Dyche, the Board and the squad.

Just shows how hard it is to keep a side up. I think we've learned from experience and that if u have to play an ugly defensive game so be it.

This was a very weak League this year, and given the defence we have got, which of course SD deserves credit for, we could and in my eyes should have been bolder, if we had been I fancy we could have got a top ten finish.
So for me creditable but below my expectations.

Bournemouth, Leicester, Watford, Swansea, Hull, Sunderland,Crystal Palace, Middlesborough,
Burnley that's a pretty weak lot of sides, all eminently capable of being relegated.

And last season you could add Norwich, Villa & Newcastle. So no different in terms of strength.

Imagine being so odd that even when your football club survives in the premier league, against all expectations, you look for a negative.

Hopefully get to a few more games next season now we're staying up. Another year of being broke money wise. It costs me on average £500 for me and the wife to watch a game. Travel from Isle of Man, accommodation, tickets, petrol, dogs into kennels, and food & drink. It's an expensive hobby but I enjoy every second of it. UTC

If it was such a 'weak' league this season how come 2 of the promoted teams from last season and the team that's been dodging the drop for years have all been relegated??
You don't half talk rubbish...

Really is a fantastic achievement, in the context of how football has gone, quite probably the greatest in our history. Sean (must be in line for freedom of the Borough), the players, staff and Directors, you've done us proud. Many thanks

What a fantastic achievement, well done to Sean Dyche and to the club for their support of him. We have absolutely no right to be in the Premier League and we have not only got into it but managed to stay there. These really are good times to be a Burnley fan.

Stunning achievement, and as discussed previously, possibly the best in the club's history. The target at the start of the season was purely to stay up, so mission accomplished. Magnifico! There is no doubting that Sean Dyche is as good as anyone when it comes to man management, motivation and organization, and his tactical abilities can only be benefiting from coming up against some of the best coaches in the world every week. I am looking forward to see what the summer brings, and I hope we Clarets can all relish these exciting times. Proud to be a Claret.

No chance.

Hate to be a party pooper, but how many last second winners did we have this year? It obviously can't be repeated, so we need to strengthen the side further. Just saying.

Just looked at the fixtures on this site. From the 80th minute we scored 7 goals which resulted in 5 wins and we conceded 9 goals which resulted in 6 defeats. Happens in football, what goes round comes round can't say last second goals played a major part in our survival. Not good for our collective health though

I wonder what the stats would be like for any 10 minute period?

Totally irrelevant when we score the winner,be it the first 10 minutes or in the last..all that's important is we got enough wins etc to survive..next season ..who knows? But that's next seasons roller coaster of a ride being a Claret..
