With the way things have been going with CS recently IPTV seems the way to go. Any recommendations for suppliers?

Aren't they trying to ban things like Kodi?

I find Kodi extremely frustrating with very few streams available. There is also lagging, buffering etc even with fibre broadband at very high speed. Heard some good things about IPTV but always felt I would have the same glitches as streaming

The next TV football deal, absolutely has to be be more innovative and affordable. Its been proven elsewhere that if you provide consumers with what they want at a reasonable cost and make it as easily available as pirated content, they'll buy it rather than pinch it - music and to an extent movies are moving in the right direction.
In my view, the new deal needs to cover IP broadcasting and provide some access to 3PM kick offs, along with 'season tickets' for away games - however its done.
The days of a blanket package offered by Sky / Virgin are over and if the FA and Braodcasters don't cotton on to that then they'll go the way of video rental and outdoor toilets.

Have signed up to IOVanish to accompany my Fire TV. No buffering now.

Leyland..
You need to buy a VPN (set it to the Netherlands) and your buffering will disappear, plus most links will work

Get a decent iptv not a cheap one along with a smart tv and you'll have no problems whatsoever

I've just signed up to IPVanish on the advice of SportsMania in order to access Sky Sports and I've never had as much buffering!

I had the opposite experience burnmark, signed up and all SS channels worked. Where as before they would just not load at all or do that slow mo buffering thing.

PaintYork..
The Netherlands normally has the fastest speed and better connection.
Been using them for 5 years now.
Private internet access or vypr (both in the Google store) I highly recommend.. around £30-40 per year

Cheers, I've just bought a vpn router then it connects all my devices, including fire tv. The Netherlands isn't an option but I'm getting into the 20's speedwise although sm kept stopping on Saturday (came straight back on) whereas it never did without the vpn.

Why the Netherlands? Oops - already answered. No need to answer again.

Bear in mind that unless you spend a decent amount on a VPN router it will slow your speed down if you're on a fast connection (e.g. Virgin cable at 100Mbs or similar). It's quite a processor intensive activity so speed in the 20s or lower with a 100Mbps connection wouldn't be unusual.

My usual speed without the vpn router is around 35mb/s, I've just tested the speed through sm speed test with the vpn router and it is 28.7mb/s so it can't be that which stopped the stream on Saturday.

Now, when people say CS is this using a skybox/openbox/zgemma box with a (cough) free gift?
Ive tried a kodi box but either the picture quality had less pixels whan my old school calculator, or nothing really connected or was available as shown. I have 100mbps broadband but frequently found the streaming is always pretty poor despite netflix streaming 1080p with not much effort.
So it appears to be the poor quality of provided streams rather than my setup?

Yes, it's called a warranty I believe.
