What is the point in at stewards. The first lot could've easily been stopped and when you don't stop them that's when everyone else goes on cos they know they won't get punished.

Agreed. Not like we won the game or stayed up courtesy of a last minute goal.

I could sort of understand it if this game meant we stayed up. But not when we were already safe.. and lost!

It's a shambles, and it's the minority of fans who will constantly make us look like a small time knuckle dragging club.

It's not the 80's any more. We don't need to do it. I don't like pitch invasions anyway, but today was ridiculous.

I'd have taken a pic of the 12yr old stood at the front of the JML with arms outstretched trying to stop them but I was too busy ******* myself laughing

I'll bet the Burnley Express publish pictures of them but with positive headlines, rather than condemning it for what it is.

Thought it was traditional,did it many times to pat the players on the back.For those that have never done it,just to be on the hallowed Turf is something quite special.

No doubt the mard arses will never understand.

It's not being a mard arse not running on the Turf. It's just called being a rational, sensible adult. Why didn't we pitch invade at the end of the 2011/12 season? Or when we got relegated in 09/10?

I've been on the pitch twice, once as a mascot and once after the Orient game, I've never seen the need to since

It took the fans quite a while to realise we were safe after that west brom game

Totally agree with the idiots who run on the pitch, but even worse for me are those that left early. How can you not want to show your appretiation for staying up which every pundit said we wouldn't from the day we were promoted.

As soon as my wife and myself saw fans running on the pitch we decided not to stay for the players lap of honour. Unfortunate, as this has been one of the most memorable in our history. It's about time it stopped as it just makes us look amateurish and I hope the fans who ran on the field are proud of themselves because they spoilt it for the majority.

Most people stayed behind and remained seated. Once the pricks ran on the pitch people started to leave so it spoiled the occasion. Dyche was not happy at all and gave one prick a few words when he tried to get a selfie.

I went at the final whistle because I knew that there would be a long wait until
they managed to clear the pitch of those mindless, brainless, disrespectful, moronic
ignorant b@stards who spoilt the spectacle for everyone else.

A point worth making is that those 11/12 year olds would almost certainly have been accompanied
by an adult ! What were they doing to allow there little scrote to run onto the pitch ? They
should have chucked a cargo net over the lot of them, hitched it to a tractor and dragged them
out of the ground, up Manchester Road and dumped them on Crown Point.

Despicable, selfish and defiant behaviour.

For those "disgusted " at the invaders, what did you make of those paid to be on there?

No wonder the cricket game next door had a few watching, after that "display", I'd have left early too, if I knew their was a team trying to actualy win a game through tacticle awareness on next door.
