Hi fellow clarets just watching the england germany u21 games with mates when we got talking about who was the first non white player to grace the claret and blue if anybody can help us out much appreciated

first black player to sign for us was Alf Charles in the 1930's I think but he never made a first team appearance, not sure about who was first to actually play a game for us.

Les Lawrence was the first as far as I know to play in the first team

Frank Soo, English mother, Chinese Father, guested for Burnley in the wartime league whilst serving in the RAF.
