Shame the government he serves literally cheered when they defeated a bill to give him a payrise remotely in line with inflation.

Deserves a medal v brave. The pay rise issue concerns an entire public sector not one individual's bravery. Post above about politicising every thread is correct.

He and "I'm Millwall" deserve at least a George Medal along with the doctor who attended to the injured in the middle of all that mayhem. Without them the death toll would most probably have been higher.
