New flags for the CFS

Looking at getting the flags we have made so far and some new ones put up around the ground, starting in The CFS.

We already have the 'In Dyche We Trust' one in The Longside upper.

Any thoughts on any of these. Ignore the 'proof' as thats obviously a watermark.

Look forward to the usual barrage 8-) 8-) 8-)

Theres one which is a simple play on a Johnny Cash album cover.

Then the rest are Godfather themed. The one with Dunn on might be a bit busy and need to be simplified.

Hi James - Have you already spoken to the club regarding possible locations in the CFS for the flags? It took quite a while for us to eventually get the ok for the 'In Dyche we Trust' banner in the JHU.

Cheers pete. Yes spoke with cliff previously who gave us the ok providing fireproof etc. He was open to allowing us to look to get them all going pre match a la liverpool kop end and he mentioned your in dyche we trust flag we have up already. But fixing them may be better starting point. Oprn to help snd suggestions though.

I wouldn't bother with putting Dunn on. Burnley fans have an obsession with showing we don't like that lot rather than showing how proud we are of being clarets.

Good Ideas though

The white Godfather one is a nice image, but I think it loses context as the original poster isn't exactly iconic. And there are plenty of iconic Godfather images.

Along the same lines, the Cash one just looks like a black background, Dyche's face and the word Dyche to me.

That's meant as constructive criticism by the way, I support the idea of flags in the CFS

The Cash one could do with a little work and be very nice.

Here's a quick mock up that I feel would be better.

Understood. Although most ive had made so far are purely burnley. Its not unique to burnley to use flags to mock our rivals inferiority thougg.

Number 2 is a belter

Although he has done a superb job, I wouldn't be so inclined to use Dyche on every single flag. If you are looking long term, you could ones without people on, or with legends on. ( One or 2 of Dyche wouldn't look too bad as he is part of our history now, but more than 1 or 2 and it looks like a bit of a man crush )
Not a dig, just an opinion.

Heaton holding the championship trophy
Wade Elliot and that point at Wembley
Parkinson at Wembley
Britton arms aloft celebrating
The old Longside
A full Darwen end with the score board with us leading.
A Kilby appreciation one
A famous Stan quote

I'm not a major flag fan, other than for a bit of banter and/or if they are smart.

No it isn't, you are quite right, and as much as I love that fat ******* being ridiculed, it would only really mean anything to us. Anyone outside bastards and Burnley wouldn't recognise him, despite his best efforts to make himself look a **** in Birmingham.

In my humble opinion, we should concentrate on us, and dyche, in portraying the "strongjaw" image.

Loving your efforts tho, we are moving in the right direction.

And just wait il I see bfccrazy.... (or at least the person I THINK is bfccrazy.... I'll be having words about that picture ;) :D ...)

Have you spoke to Cliff regarding 'fixing points'?

My flag was removed from the back wall at the start of the season and I was told that I could drape it across the seats but there are very few games that have enough empty seats (which is good I know).

It's a shame we can 'personalise' the side wall of the CFS like Bournemouth do.
