How is everyone getting to Dublin.

I am booked on the Irish ferries from Holyhead at 11:55 on Friday. Stopping with family in Kimmage and then returning on the ferry on Sunday.
Killing 2 birds with one stone. Family visit ! watching the Clarets !

Easy trip for myself getting the train 11.25am out of Athenry and should be in Dublin at 1.30pm ......

Flying from Manchester Thursday morning, with 9 other Clarets. Staying on Temple bar area. Fly back home Saturday night.

Random question, do the Irish use the same plug system as us or do they use the European style?

Finish work. Meet another Claret for a few pints in town and then the Luas to Tallaght.

I think the Luas is going to be busy before and after the game - I'd suggest giving yourself plenty of time on the way down to Tallaght.

I don't think it will be that busy at that time, Tallaught stadium only holds 6000, Friday's people finish early and disperse down the country to see family, so it's not a bad time to travel on the Luas.

I'm luckily door to door, quite literally my first Irish "home" game as I missed the tour of Cork a few years ago in 12 or 13.

@DubClaret where are you traveling from? I'm going on my own as my dad pulled out due to illness.

Gonna be scorchio on Friday in Ireland, a Saharan 20C. And believe me that is as good as it gets over here ha

Very hot in Cork four years ago and a really good trip.

Was at both those games too, looking forward to completing the hatrick on Friday. Hopefully finish work at 4pm Fri, few pints before jumping on the claret n blue luas to Tallaght!

We have 1 flying over from Dubai Thursday night, back Saturday night.

4 of us out from Leeds at 6.35 am Friday morning, back Saturday evening 20.55

Looks like Dublin airport will be busy with Clarets Saturday evening!

Also, LUAS will be fine. Run every 8 minutes at that time of day, and a few hundred won't flood it.

Fly out 8.35pm Thursday from Manchester with my youngest, return Saturday afternoon. Staying Ibis but heading into Dublin Friday day.

Flying 6.30 ish from Leeds/Bradford Friday morning and back Sunday morning on another early flight. I'm going to be as rough as a stuntman's knee on Sunday morning, but you can't beat a good old weekend binge in Dublin

If its the Ryanair flight at 6.35 from Leeds, it's the same one we're on :)
