On a thread the other day titled 'Celtic fans', some posters tried desperately to get Rangers fans in to the discussion.

Well here's your chance on this clearly titled thread, so fill your boots.

There's a massive correlation of horrible players, same colours and low fan IQ level between Rangers and Blackburn Rovers.

Imagine how cringy and embarrassing it would be these days to start that chant that used to go round the home ends of some football grounds, one section shouting "Celtic!" another shouting "Rangers!"....as cringey as the LiverpoolCeltic fans love-in singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" in unison at friendlies and in Europe, half n half scarves etc *shudder*

Damn, I keep mentioning Celtic, sorry.

Them half Burnley and half Rangers or Celtic wooly hats in the late 80's made me f***ing spew.

One of my earliest memories on the Turf was some clowns chanting for Rangers and Celtic at Burnley games.
It always p xxxed me off as a pointless thing to do..
Why chant about Scottish pub sides playing in a lower league?

I don't remember that as much as the bit of a cheer that went up on the Longside, when the half time scores were being read out and Man Utd were winning.

It had me apoplectically seething did that.

Get in the away end you dick heads!

Don't Celtic fans qualify as an oppressed minority that our sjw's should be defending?
In fact they've likely been afforded 'race' status by now, stop being racist.

I know that according to the Turtle I should know all the abbreviations on the internet, but I don't.

What does sjw stand for?

And while we're at it, what does FWIW stand for?

Folk can't be in that much of a rush on the internet to get shut of so many letters, when they are always on the internet.

Up The Clarets for example, takes no time at all.

At this point in time, Celtic are by far the bigger club. That's because they've always been more open to players and fans crossing "The Great Divide."

Sweet Jesus Wept. It's the feeling you get when you end up talking about social justice warriors instead of football. FYI.

How do you know that they have no Scottish affiliations in their family - do tell them you're into genealogy and start doing their family tree?

Those wandering around Burnley in mongy replica kit relating to plastic clubs are fair game to me and I've no compunction in making derogatory asides intended for their hearing...or even, on occasion, if they are loud in any way, telling them to do one....they're nearly always scrawny teenage brats or farty middle class offspring...and I'm a pretty ugly so and so.

fwiw, I've more respect for that last dying rump of Blackbum fans who might be daft enough to reveal themselves on our manor....

Given our history with Celtic it would be fairly unusual to be a Burnley fan and a Celtic fan

It was one game, 40 years ago. Means nothing to anyone under the age of 50.

I don't like Celtic simply because most of their fans never made the great leap out of the Middle Ages, and the domination of alien episcopal supremacy.

I spent my formative years in Scotland and grew to love everything about Rangers; except the fans. If you were a kid on your own and out without something to prove you were a Rangers fan you faced the possibility of getting the **** kicked out of you if a group of kids decided you were having a bad day.

In hindsight it was probably just kids being little shits, but it coloured my view of the lot of them anyway. Which probably makes me racist.
