You can't until they reopen subscriptions in a weeks time. Enter coupon code 'warmup' and you will receive a free 2 week pass until it gets sorted. This will only work for expired subs

How do you pay your subscription to sportsmania?
I don,t fancy giving my credit card security code to someone on the internet.

Paid for 6 months last November via card and renewed in June for 12 months via card payment and had no problems whatsoever.

Common problem for many people who want the benefit of the internet without any risk, not a pop at you, just something I hear or read all the time.
I once heard someone say 'I never give my details out, I use Paypal instead' thinking that was somehow different
Sportsmania will be as secure as any other company on line and I have heard they are really good.

I renewed my subscription in June for six months only, just in case the threatened action against
streaming of sports comes to fruition. If nothing happens on this front I will be renewing again in
December. As for on-line security, I have never had a problem with them and consider them as secure
as you will find on the internet.
The content is fabulous and is of excellent quality.
To answer an earlier question, you don't need Kodi to use it, you can use can use it direct from their
own website.

I used Sportsmania all last season. It was mainly very good with just a few frustrating days. Towards the end of the season their servers were targeted as part of the crackdown on illegal broadcasting of premier league matches. I've found them a bit up and down over the summer as well, especially for F1. This season I'm going with Optus who have the official prem league rights in Australia for every prem league match (same as Premier League pass in NZ if anyone remembers that). For other sports im using a paid IPTV subscription (less than Sportsmania). I've had to subscribe to a VPN as well to get Optus.

Hi- how did you get the Optus subscription? Did you need an address in Oz? What VPN? Cheers

Paypal is very different. The seller receives your money from Paypal and doesn't have access to your CC/DC details.

It's difficult to say really, I get 11.5mbps and it's fine. You can, or could, subscribe for just
1 week for £1 or thereabouts. Worth testing it out for that sort of money.
I would give it a go.
Best of luck with it.

If using only 1 internet product at a time 5mbps would be fine but if you are on the internet on your phone it would buffer. Im lead to believe that there is a max of 4mbps per item when using internet

It depends on how stable the connection is. I had vm and it was awful. The speeds were bouncing up and down and a lot of noise. I'd say to be on the safe side you need a solid stable connection at 20mps and above for the hd streams. I moved to Plusnet and decided to pay for their 80mps package and it's been no problem at all. Certainly at 6mps you will be struggling but may get away with SD streams and nothing else connected to the Wi-Fi. Also if you can hardware the box with an Ethernet cable do so.

You can also boost it by using TPLink, available at Argos (other suppliers are available)
This uses your house wiring as a conduit to transfer the signal around the premises, whilst
also giving it a slight boost. Beware, however, if your power circuits are different for each floor
then the signal won't transfer between the two floors.
You can also boost the speed by getting into your router settings and changing them. One of the ways
is shown on the attached link. There are other ways of achieving a boost, so have a search around on youtube.

sports mania is excellent, paid 12 months last year and renewed for another year, never had any problems with payment so dont worry. I run my sportsmania through a amazon fire tv box, about £80 from argos and i thoroughly recommend it. Dont bother with the FIRESTICK, not half as good

Hi. Search in book-face for the group "premium Awesome Accounts". Optus is £30 for the year. They also sell Express VPN for a year for £30 but usually do a deal if you buy more than one thing off them at a time so you might get the two for £50. You don't need an Oz address. You will need the VPN set to Australia though. You can get the Optus app on Android phones or Apple TV or on your PC through a browser.

You'd think so wouldn't you but I've been stung by someone using PayPal and having things I hadn't ordered sent to a different address. PayPal admitted liability and paid out straight away but I'm still at a loss how these people got my details. PayPal couldn't (or wouldn't) explain but at least were prompt in putting it right.

If you use the same email address and password for some other web site then they could have hacked details and just trying the logins on different sites such as Paypal. I've started using different passwords for each site now

I made the mistake of letting my 6 month subscription lapse and have just realised that I can't renew as they're not allowing new members. Does anyone know when they will be opening up to new subscriptions?
