If we plan on playing 4-5-1 more often then we currently only have four midfielders: Westwood, Defour, Hendrick and Cork to go into potentially three positions, I would definitely get one more player in who can play centrally.

He actually played 12 games last season at Left Midfield.

Perhaps the view is that he is an upgrade on Arfield?

If we were playing 4-4-1-1 (not actually 4-5-1 as Hendrick plays behind the striker) I'd much rather us go in for an attacking midfielder with some flair.

Possibly although Hull fans say he's 10x better in the middle - also read he wants to play central himself.

Quality player, would love this one. 4 CMs isn't enough, especially when Hendrick can be played further up the pitch.

There is definite interest, and he's a player I like, but I~m not sure hes what we need right now.
