Keep them fit and we should be fairly secure.
Obviously there will a few ups and downs but we now look very streetwise at this level.

We beat Chelsea away.
Blackburn get stuffed by Doncaster at home.
If Carlsberg did Saturdays.......

I felt reasonably confident before the season started but it's still to early to say. I think today's game is a hard one to judge off. We were brilliant first half but it just shows how good teams like Chelsea can be when they bring it back to 3-2 with 9 men.
However, there are a lot of positives. The main thing is that we keep this group together and bring in another 2 or 3 to further strengthen it. Not to do so would be a big mistake, in my opinion. Fingers crossed we get a few over the line in the coming weeks.

We look a lot more maturer then last season already which is a massive plus.

That's pretty much spot on, IL. Chelsea are Chelsea - worth a hell of a lot more than us and man for man a hell of a lot better. In some ways it's hard to measure because they were weakened so early on, but it's got to give our players confidence and that midfield of ours is pretty immense! If Vokes can keep scoring, we can stay up, for sure.IndigoLake wrote:I felt reasonably confident before the season started but it's still to early to say. Don't know what you guys are smoking!!
Tark's made 2 mistakes today and not good enough
Big Sam never a Premier striker
Midfield weak but better
No pace in the side
Board no ambition
Need a marquee signing
Manger & D4 obviously don't get on
One win is like one swallow, doesn't mean summer is here
If we don't bring 3 top players in we are relegated for sure
All above from various poster

We'll never get anywhere until we sign a 100 million pound striker

I'm stuck at a wedding, over the moon, but feel like a little kid stuck outside looking through the window.
The kids are going mental on WhatsApp, and all I want to do is go mental as well.
It sounds like the 4-5-1 was a roaring success. I can't wait to get home and watch game of the day.

Re: Our first eleven looks and seems to play like an established PL side
We're very, very, very close to being a composed and comfortable Premier League side. As the OP states, our first eleven looks the real deal. Three players - max - will give us the required depth.
