Most underrated striker in the division. He was our top scorer last season in less gametime than Gray for a reason. Keep on plugging away Vokesy.

I can't think of a superlative to describe my feelings about Sam Vokes at this precise moment.

He's my hero.

I think that he's learnt how to put himself about a bit more from Barnesy, towards the end of last season he started being a bit less of the nice guy and it's paying dividends!!

He's a bloody good player. Vastly underrated by non-Burnley fans. Hoping we can bring a different kind of striker in to make him even better.

That Defour cross was an absolute beauty, I don't think we put enough crosses into the box last year for him to attack.

We still need at least another striker. One or two injuries and things would quickly look very different. Strikers also go through lean patches and that will no doubt happen.

Field events should not feature in the world athletic championships. Discus.

As the Chelsea fans said on the way out. Big, strong, holds the ball up superbly and scores goals. Not a bad combination at this level.

Probably as hot as anybody right now! Last few games of last season and yesterday.So underrated if he keeps fit I think he could get at least to 15 goals.I love the look of our line up yesterday,I think we was at our best with the same system last year aswell

Sam Vokes is a quality player. Irreplaceable. He's found his home at Burnley and long may that continue.
