Conte first to Go?
Conte first to Go?
After last season's honeymoon, he seems to be doing everything to undermine the team and the club. First on his bike?

Not a chance. He's one of, if not the, best managers in the Prem.

Re: Conte first to Go?
Honestly, one of my thoughts as half-time arrived yesterday. Posted as much on the match day thread yesterday.

Re: Conte first to Go?
There's a bit of a powerplay between owner/manager re new signings but doubt it'll end in a parting of the ways.
The bookies have Benitez and Hughes as joint favourites to be first departure @ 4/1; they do have Cionte as 5th favourite (after Bilic & Shakespeare) at 10/1. That is a bit weird given how well Chelsea (and Conte) did last season but I guess reflects the sort of club Chelsea has become.

Seems to be a repeat of the Mourinho saga going on. Time will tell.LeadBelly wrote:. That is a bit weird given how well Chelsea (and Conte) did last season but I guess reflects the sort of club Chelsea has become.

Re: Conte first to Go?
I think some are confusing him being fired with resigning.
Should Chelski fail to splash the cash, I can see him walking. No chance of him catching a bullet.

He will want his massive pay off for doing nothing.
