Is there a mistake with the coach pricing?

And being 'bussed' in puts a stop to me attending this particular fixture.

Great. Well that's another Deadwood game I won't be bothering with. I put up with the bus lark until I'd seen us win again - was there in 78 and 79 - but swore blind I wouldn't do it again.

Soft as ****, terrified Lancashire Police who can't police a football fixture with resorting to these draconian measures.

Shame on them and shame on the clubs for pandering to them.

I wondered how they would deal with this given it is such short notice but there was no way they were going to let us go on our own

Hope coaches don't leave before 6.30ish, some of us have to work and then travel over the pennines to be bused in

Also do those prices include the coach ticket or is that extra?

Those are Blackburn's ticket prices - the coach will be extra

The only thing stopping me going is not getting a ticket. I'd be escorted to the game by Eamonn Holmes if it meant seeing us beat Rovers.

(I don't like Eamonn Holmes.)

Be a nice gesture for the club to offset the price of coaches.

Perhaps we could join in with the host's boycott. Or is that boycotted now? Would they know at all?

Isn't it about time someone at the club showed a bit of backbone and challenged the police on the bus issue?

Totally over the top. Lancashire police once again confirm that they are an absolute joke, and are not fit for purpose.

This must be the only derby in England where this happens.

If it was the FA Cup I might bother, but second round of the League Cup and the bus thing? Think I'll watch it on teletext.

Not really, I just thought it might be a good gesture from the club to offset some of the negativity they will receive after being part of the decision to impose coach travel.

They will only have been part of the decision in that there would have been no other option open.

Working in blackburn that day. So have to drive home to go back.

Mates on a 10 - 6 night shift just round the corner from ewood and will have to do the same. Wont be able to walk 10 mins from the ground to work so wont be able to go or will have to book work off pathetic again.

Ticket price is nothing to do with the coaches though - that' just the match ticket price and is 25% less than their league prices.

I'd have to rush over from Leeds after work, no time for a pint beforehand before crawling down the M65 at a snail's pace before the same crap on the return journey. Said after the last time I wouldn't put up with it again and gonna stick to it this time. Charging us for the buses most of us don't want to use just adds insult to the injury.

That was when I was preparing the article and I'd left some ticket prices underneath. It was all sorted very quickly but it is pretty obvious that it is a duplicate of ticket prices although the £17 comes from the Spurs game I think.

There was absolutely no reference to travel prices.

Not sure why people have mentioned the club offsetting the coach fares?? .... surely it should be Lancashire Police footing the bill due to their clear incompetence?

No idea on that. I was involved with the planning last time but that was over a considerable number of weeks before the game and everything was in place long before the game. This time I would think there has been no time to involve anyone but those who have to be.

They had to do it a number of years ago (2013) but, unlike Burnley, the clubs stood up for the fans and the police have since backed down.

Boycott it. That's the only way the clubs will eventually grow a pair and stand up for the fans.

Hasn't the 'bubble' for Wrexham and Chester also been disbanded now?
