Managed to buy two tickets for Spurs this morning (as now on sale for any season ticket holder regardless of loyalty points). Does anyone know how many we have sold so far?

Been told they are selling slowly which is probably due to the League Cup match next week

Might also be slow in selling due to difficulty of train travel that weekend.

Plus it's the Bank Holiday and many people will have other plans.
Still, not every day you get to watch Burnley play at Wembley.

The Bank Holiday could allow some to go, when they otherwise couldn't
Swings and roundabouts
We'll have a decent following

Come on everyone, let's take a big crowd. It's the "second leg" of the 1962 FA Cup Final - last time Spurs and Burnley met at Wembley.

Thought they weren't going on general sale until Monday. We're not season ticket holders but just managed to buy 3 online.

I wonder if they have sent half back then if sales weren't going well? Do you have to pay for the 2nd batch regardless if you sell them at Spurs?

I would guess that you just get the full 3000 allocation. There would be no point sending any back as they won't sell all their seats, There'll probably be 20,000 empty seats!

Their definitely will be 20,000 empty seat just like when they played in Europe.
Dunno why spurs don't tarp over the whole top section and sell out 55,000 on the lower and corporate tiers and then open then other tiers as per demand games via home and away fans. Keep everyone relatively close to the pitch and encourage an atmosphere.
But then again their isn't much common sense in football these days......

I think that for most games they will be closing off some of the top sections.

On a bank holiday Sunday though with no trains between Manchester and Euston. Not surprised we won't sell out tbh.

What's next weeks league cup game got to do with anything ten miles down the road? A game that many on here weren't going to attend.5000 sold. When purchasing the Blackburn tickets mmm...I'll get a spurs ticket while I'm at it.

Aye-it's saying "Sold Out" this morning when the general sale is due to start. It was the same for for the Chelsea game but, for that, there was a later snippet that a few were on sale "in person" - maybe the same could happen today?
No good for me though as by the time I travelled 200+ miles they'd be gone anway.
I'm at Wembley on Saturday for the RL Challenge Cup final anyway- so I'll warm a seat for somebody.

Thanks for the Heads Up Sidney, got one. Hopefully the postman does the rest (never had previous problems with mailed tickets from BFC).
2 Wembley trips in 2 days for me then! Hopefully Lancastrian success on each day.

Was at the ticket office this morning putting my name on the reserve list for two tickets for the Rovers game (which they came good with about an hour later). The man in front asked how many left for the Spurs game and the girl said they had sold 2,130. I think our allocation was 3,100 and there weren't many turning up to buy them, so plenty left!

That's a reasonable effort given all the problems with the trains this coming weekend.

They were selling really slow initially, probably because of tomorrow's game, but things have picked up this week and I suspect we will sell our full allocation.

The only one I can find from Manchester or Preston gets you to Wembley at 5.15 and none back.

We can get back to Leeds for 9.20 but the last train to Burnley sets off at 9.08.

Try National Express (or Megabus) from Manchester to London Victoria Coach Station then tube to Wembley. That's what I'm doing from Leeds.

Drive to Steeton or Todmorden then and get the train from there. Trains run late enough to those places.
