Not negative, what a performance and so unlucky. We deserved more than a defeat today, i think that was there only chance. We should be proud of that performance, we moved the ball quickly and look like a different team to the one that avoided relegation last season. I am really positive about this season and wont let the doom mongers on here change that opionon. UTC

How did Tarkowski do ?

We played well, particularly first half. Deserved to win, never mind draw. But you can't waste all those chances and not expect to be punished. I thought WBA were excellent in defence but didn't offer anything else.

Did very well, in my opinion. Ward's mistake put him in a tough position for the goal but he couldn't do much - not without giving a pen away.

I looked at the lineups before kickoff and thought for possibly the first time that our team were genuinely better footballers

Let's ignore that Mee and Ward were both at fault for their goal then - not just Tarka's fault

Again Tarka was not the only one at fault last week

Mee and Ward were equally if not more culpable for today's goal than Tarkowski.

Absolutely spot on this. Laying all the blame at Tarkowski would be really silly.

Not saying the total blame is on him but Tarks looked very weak, looked like a youngster being taught a lesson with that goal.

Your reference to weak should also be applied to Mee and Ward if not more so.

Keane's pace got him out of trouble a lot last season, i think Tarky has done well but thats 3 goals shipped in 2 games, slightly worrying but nothing that hard work on the training pitch can't rectify.

I agree with this. I like the guy and he clearly has a very strong and positive work ethic.

I think we need to bring in an experienced centre half for Tarks to learn from.

He clearly is going by his performance in the 180 minutes i have seen him play so far this season.

Just because you don't rate him, it doesn't make him at fault for everything negative the team does, does it?

The thing is I do believe he's going to grow into a fantastic defender, I just think he has made decisive errors that have unfortunately led to goals against us.

Awful defending for their goal. Sadly it's the 3rd goal he's been at fault for. Saying that, Mee shouldn't be getting beat in the air to Phillips in the build up.

What about Ward, Mee and potentially Heaton for the goal then? I don't see the same questions being asked of them. They were all equally at fault, but you have picked out Tarkowski, for whatever reason.

the professional, on the stream put it down to Ward not cleaning R-K out when the first header was dropping. Tarks was f**ked then.

Thought tarks was really good, just shows! Glad everyone is positive, I agree we looked good on the ball and created enough chances to have won easily,

How good is defour unbelievably so today fantastic !
Cork was excellent on the ball moving it quickly
Brady had an average game as I thought did Hendrick
Barnes was the usual liability when he came on slowing the game when we needed it speeding up
Walters should have done better with his header , I actually jumped up to celebrate cos it looked easier to miss.
Heaton played the ball from the back making us look like the new Barcelona
Overall very happy apart from the score

Tarkowski is only doing what Mee did last season early on, being found out at this level, I expect him to get better as the season progresses.

It is a tough call whether to get an established defender in tho as backup, I think we should just to keep him on his toes, not sure Long is going to challenge his place enough.
