Parking at Wembley advice

I know it will cost a fortune but any advice on where to park for a quick get away after the game ?

Think stanmore was mentioned the other week, then tube it in. We looked into it and its about £4.50 return per adult and £2.50 for children.
Should be great for a quick get away after the match.
Also a few places to eat and drink prior the match, should you get there early.
That is our plan anyway.
Edit - stanmore was the place. Not to far from the m1, so easier getting in and out.

A word of caution on Stanmore. I parked there for an NFL game last year and in fairness getting to Wembley and back was a breeze.
However, the exit from the car park is a nightmare. Despite being able to see the main road from the car park it took me well over an hour to actually get to it.

Posted on another thread , Northwick Park Hospital cost £6.00 for 5 hrs two tube stops away no problem with getting out of car parks .

I generally park near Canons Park station (one in from Stanmore)..there are some streets at the other end of the parade of shops from the station where you can generally find a space.
