dont think it was a fluke beating chelsea down there, west brom ruffled our feathers at the turf and we'll be clear minded to put that right.
Kane seems to play like a padiham pub player for the first few games so we can disregard him as a threat.
They never win anything as a team either, i have no fear of spurs . should be done and dusted again by half time.

Against Chelsea, we were up against 10 men for the majority of the game, so I don't expect things will be quite so straightforward. A draw would be massive, but going 2-0 to Spurs.

Edit: Changed from 3-0 to 2-0 to stop someone further down, from crying.

I reckon we can get a point, both sides are away.

Spurs haven't settled at Wembley yet,after the Chelsea setback this is a must win game for them,i think we can dig out a 1-1,don't forget they were lucky to beat us at the lane last season, and that was during their run of victories.

I can't understand people who are predicting 3-0 and 4-0. We hardly ever get smashed by the top teams. Based on our previous results against the top six it's a stupid prediction to make.

Id man mark Dele with Barnes. Wind him up a bit and get him sent off. Then destroy them with our flamboyance, fluid and killer football.

3 or 4-0 is a perfectly possible scoreline. Have you seen their team compared to ours? If they turn up and are on their game, or we aren't fully at it, there's every chance of a pasting.

Hoping for a draw but can't see it.

They even had an identical pitch to our national stadium's layed so it helps with the size of the pitch when playing

Spurs are kinda a nemesis to us, a nemesis when it counts anyway. I think we beat them once after we were already relegated. I wasn't around, but I also heard they were a bit of a bogy team in the 60s and 70s too.

I still have nightmares of Pavelechenko scoring, but also Robbie Keane obliterating us at white heart lane not that long ago...so yeah I'm being negative saying 4-0 but I certainly think its plausible. One things for sure, even if they go 2 ahead they won't be hitting the brakes like a lot of teams would.

I think we might scrub a 1-1. Which would be a massive point (not necessarily in the points column, just that we're making a point this year that we can get a point anywhere)

My heart really just wants us to be still in it at 60 minutes. I ******* hate it when a team scores early because we rarely come back.

Which new signings? Of the 5 signed to date, Walters is injured, Bardsley is cover for Lowton, Taylor has a way to go to dislodge Ward so that leaves Cork, who will start, and Wood who I expect to see come on at some stage tomorrow.

Optimistic we can get a draw here. Pressure is on Spurs as people seem to be saying this is the game where they should be able to get over the mental block they seem to have about Wembley - plus the Kane no PL goals in August stat is a strange one too.

The encouraging thing about Chelsea, and obviously the red card changed the game, was that instead of shutting up shop and hoping for the best we went for it. Spurs have got great pace and are superb on the counter but when we've got the ball, and we look like we're using it better this season, there will be the opportunity for us play a bit.
