looks like its a trait set to continue....so many of our players just improve....I am sure there are quite a few but some that spring to mind...Ward, Brady,Vokes....perhaps Tarks is on that upward curve as well....this is the real factor for our success/survival.....continously improving players from decent championship level into genuine premiership level and even internationals.......even if we end up having to sell them its great for the club....utc.

That's what makes SD such a great manager; everyone he brings in buys straight into the team philosophy. Being managed by such a great character can only be a good thing. Long may it continue!

Also think Jack Cork is an inspired signing.
Looks a great addition to the middle. Tremendous.

Yep; I feel this is a lost art by some of today's managers (like Pep etc)
They think they need to buy & spend, spend, spend but it's not always about that.
Work hard & more importantly smart, in a positive environment with good coaches keen to learn and with players that don't have an ego that don't mind accepting criticism & striving towards improving themselves.
It's a recipe for success.

A lot was made of Coyle and his ability to get a team to play for him whilst he was here.
The massive difference here is that Dyche seems to get a player to truly play for themselves and for the whole club and fans. The players seem to join the Burnley "family" on and off the pitch as soon as they step foot in the town and it's amazing to see.
The way the players surrounded Wood after him being here for a week shows the bonds quickly built and the togetherness which is building in this little corner of Lancashire to put it up the big boys.

Certainly true with a number we've sold as well.
Trippier, Shackell, Keane all improved massively under Dyche.

Best piece of business Burnley FC ever did.
Give the bloke a contract on par with the top end managers.
He came to the club with a grounded football philosophy,he can never be allowed to leave over something as trivial as money.

This could end up being a long list - Lowton, Mee , Arfield.
SD has so many managerial attributes all discussed on here at length. Fitness and conditioning is huge and was referred to in an interview with Jon Walters this week.
All of our players have good technical ability add that extra physical edge which in itself instills belief and you get the never give up attitude we saw today. Another 10 minutes and confident we would have scored a winner. There was some tremendous energy went into that comeback. Spurs couldn't match it.

He's basically a top manager. But he should only leave once we're a consistent Premier League team.

Spending sh!tloads of money doesn't always bring success, good man management usually does. SD has the latter in spades and is, slowly, getting more of the former.

He has time on his side at Burnley to work with players and develop them. Other clubs are less patient.
