Together with a fully fit Defour, not forgetting Hendrick, we have a
superb midfield that will only get better with playing together.
Good times.

God knows why Swansea let him go, we could say the same for most of our players though.

He's the glue that we've needed in midfield for ages. Very classy and composed. Certainly bringing out the best in Defour too.

We could do if we were extremely stupid and couldn't recognise all of the circumstances.

So what were the circumstances for Swansea letting Cork go and Villa letting Lowton leave, Mr expert?

Quality, thoughtful, player, with plenty of Prem experience.
Finds space so he can have a look around before committing.
He obviously buys into the way Sean Dyches wants him to play, and passes and tackles so well.
A great bit of business and one of the first name on the team sheet.

A classy player and one of my favourite players of the last decade.
The amount of space that he finds for himself bodes well for the rest of the season, especially with the likes of Vokes, Wood and Walters up front.
A fantastic piece of business for the Club.
His goal at Deadwood gave him instant "Clarets Legend" status.

Jack has been excellent. He looks a far better player now than the one that previously played for us.

Very different.
We lost our better players because they wanted to leave or contracts were coming to their final year. They sold Cork because they didn't see him as good enough.

He has been so good, so consistent and solid.
Makes the team tick by allowing Defour the flexibility to roam more as he likes to. What a fabulous double act they are.

The missing link.
Some of his tackling today was top notch as well, made it look like an art form, which it is of course.
Outstanding signing.

No i think KRBFC means that we can say "why dis so amd so let him go?" about a lot of our players.

Given that they were bound to lose Siggurdsson, selling Cork relatively cheaply does look nuts

I meant you could say the same (god knows why they let him leave) about most of our players. Example, god knows why Huddersfield let Arfield go.

Great credit has to go to the Manager and his staff - it's amazing how pretty much every player has improved

Just spotted on BBC comments.
"Everton have spent more this season, than Burnley have in their whole 135 years of history"

I think he was worth the sat nav to cork video introduction.

I wanted Swansea to get relegated last season, as I thought Jack Cork would be the perfect achievable signing, if they did. I was amazed when we signed him after they stayed up. He has been better than what I expected. He's a better version of Joey Barton, so he's fit straight into the system.

Much as I hated Brian Laws he had the vision to bring him to the Turf originally and again following our relegation. Surprised Eddy Howe did not go for him in Summer. Very stylish midfielder

Absolutely superb tonight (and all season). I was fairly unexcited when we signed him this summer but now I think we have an absolute bargain at £10M or whatever. I love watching him and Defour so much I almost don't care about our relative lack of end product !!

from the article below:
'...Jack Cork’s November, which already included his England debut, duly got better. “What a couple of weeks he has had,” said his manager, Sean Dyche. “That was the business that was decided to be done,” said Clement, suggesting it was not his decision. “I like Jack a lot...'
