Mamadou Sakho
Not likely to move from Liverpool before the window closes, not likely to figure in the Liverpool first 11. Did well for Crystal Palace on loan last season, would fill our CB problems, why don't we try for a loan move??.

Re: Mamadou Sakho
Origi has gone to somewhere for a £6 million loan fee.
You'd be looking at paying that, plus his wages, and does SD even want him?

Re: Mamadou Sakho
Dyche wouldnt bring a loan in to be a first teamer. But we should look to sign Sakho. But going over old ground.
Re: Mamadou Sakho
£100k p/w for one season is less than the £5M we paid for Nahki Wells (a 5th choice striker).
I don't know what the loan fee would be for a player like Sakho, possibly £5M at most. £10M for Sakho for one season to try and guarantee another £120M income. No brainer

I'd cream myself if we signed him; instant cult hero.
Unfortunately, I cannot see it happening.

Re: Mamadou Sakho
Has he gone to Palace? Fee was agreed long before the window closed but I can't find anything confirming the signing.

Re: Mamadou Sakho
There were six deals extended until 1am. This was one of them. Hopefully it falls through especially after Liverpool didnt get VVD.

Re: Mamadou Sakho
Sounds like they are signing him and Niasse. Hopefully they fit in to the De Boer way!

Re: Mamadou Sakho
There are some strict rules and forms have to be submitted, signed by both clubs and the player. Those forms have to show that the deal is agreed in principle to the point that they have to include the full structure of payments, wages and just about everything. So it's not for trying to get a player in late, it has to be totally agreed and going to happen.boatshed bill wrote:Why do they extend the time for some deals......

We used it three years ago to sign Michael Keane when he came in on loan.

I still wonder why the window exists at all. I know it was to protect clubs in terms of player contracts but I'm sure there's a better way.boatshed bill wrote:In that case it's allright then

Re: Mamadou Sakho
Good signing for Palace. He was their key arrival under Allardyche last season
