Methinks Hart should buy a lottery ticket. If he can get in the England starting XI with his form, he has to be on a lucky streak!

Henderson and Livermore are not international class midfielders.

Good team that. Henderson and Livermore as insurance in front of back 4, I mean you never know against ******* Malta...

Last night I caught the first 25 minutes of Belgium v Gibraltar in that time Belgium were 4-0 up and had 19 attempts at goal. Just watch us **** about tonight trying to break this ******* lot down. Side to side and back then repeat.

Think I will let the wife watch the Great British Bake off that she's sky plussed

When Malta score 3 then maybe Hart's days are numbered.

Playing Gibraltar! I know these threads are all about saying how pathetic the England team is and how international football is irrelevant compared to Burnley blah blah blah, but you're actually using how good Belgium were against Gibraltar to use it as a rod to have a go at us. Classic

If you read I was pointing out our approach against the Minnows. You're clearly hung up on some sort Belgium thing that really doesn't interest me (turned off after 25 minutes as stated) so I will bid you a goodnight.

I get them being England players due to lack of options.

The real skill is spotting the ones who are actually international standard.

Well I just backed San Marino to beat Northern Ireland 1-0 at 80/1.

Not backing England but expect them to score 4 or more. Even with that team. Keane to score in 2nd half.

Is there anyone in this England team even close to warranting the description "world class"???

Most of them can't even control a football!

16 years ago today we were winning in Germany 5-1, now we can't even get one against Malta.

Sterling is crap but why single him out?

Southgate was a shocking choice for England manager, but you have to say he has nothing to work with.

To be fair, Malta are defending well. But England already look out of ideas. I think someone like Defoe or Vardy is needed.

A new ******* manager is needed, this is just like watching his U21 side. Boring, dull, uninspired.

How the **** can a manager who got Boro relegated and got eliminated in all the major U21 tournaments early be manager of the National Team ?
