Horse racing

Post by happyclaret17 » Sat Sep 02, 2017 1:02 pm

so glad I have taken the summer off....can honestly say I very much doubt it would have been a profitable period with either very tricky handicaps or horses in completely uncompetitive fields.
didnt want to bother today as still the same type of racing....wanted to take girlfriend out but she cant make it today.

anyway there are a couple in the same race that I have had small interests in.

3 20 chester
CONFESSIONAL 11 on betfair and POWERALLIED 6 on betfair.

confessional is now a ten year old but is in really good form...very unlucky at this course recently
and draw in 6 is ok.

POWERALLIED has had a bad draw or 2 at this track recently but on his day is very effective round here
again nicely drawn in 4.

2 win bets for me....the way I play them is to lay the total stakes on betfair in play on both horses.

eg lets say 30 quid win confessional @ 11 and 40 quid win pwerallied @ 6

lay 70 quid on both horses in running at odds on....say 1.5....if selections either look like winning or involved
in a tight finish then stakes are usually returned.
to set the lay up prior to race press the KEEP button on betfair....this means your lays go live in running.

going to check ground out on first few races and see if any lay or bets crop up later....utc.

been in the wars pycb
smashed my right hand in at work a couple of weeks back...nowt brojen but swelled like a balloon...swelling down now so hopefully up and running....not going to be busy on racing front for a few weeks but will be hoping to get the christmas expenses sorted out in november/december
had a decent bet on utd at just over 3/1 for prem......really like them this yea and still think 9/4 or 5/2 could still be a good pricer....still feel that city will have too many silly slip ups.

will be laying us for the drop before the palace game....some really good opportuities for us to rack up some points at home in next few weeks and perhaps throw in 1 or 2 shock away performances and we will be out to 4 or 5/1 by christmas.

hope it did you some good Cutsy....these big fields of handicappers at the minute are really tricky so wont be having too many bets..utc.
