RIP to a true Gentleman and Claret Damian Stuttard..taken far too soon..thoughts are with his family at this sad time..The CFS will certainly be a quieter place. One love always old friend..

I didn't know the gentleman but remembered the name Damo on this site. I am sorry to hear this news and send my condolences to his family and friends.

Quite shocking really. Only ever a name on this board to me but always enjoyed his contribution. And I did not always concur. My thoughts indeed to his nearest and dearest. RIP Burnley friend.

Met the lad a few times through friends. Plenty of people I know will be truly saddened by this news.

Top guy. A genuine claret. Privileged to have known him. Burnley and his family were his life. Gutting.

Apt that his last game was the away victory at Ewood where he was in fantastic spirits.

I went to school gawthorpe with Damian we were in the same year and both mad Burnley fans... Last saw him and his son on the cfs last year v spurs where he was as usual being very vocal. His nickname at school was stutty. great guy. Fantastic claret and will be sadly missed...RIP STUTTY.

I played footy for Redrose with Damo a "good" number of years back. A very sound lad who followed England all over at one time as well as Burnley, but who in more recent years matured and ALWAYS seemed to be with his son whenever I bumped into him at games and that was great to see.
