No, it's not sad - just blinkin' expensive.

3 shirts- all pretty old ("Cooke" is the most recent); 2 t-shirts.
It does take some time to decide which one might be lucky on the day- can't imagine how you make the decision when you have 9 + t-shirts options.

Actually, it's quite easy.

Only Claret & Blue to HOME games, then it's down to the FA Cup Final replica or the FA Cup Final replica.

For AWAY games, it's the FA Cup Final replica

I found my T shirt the other week which was issued when the longside was being demolished
and which features a picture of the Longside on the front.

Glad I found it now.

Two shirts now. Last seasons and the 2011/12 one. Got an old rain jacket from the 1997/98 season somewhere with the previous club crest and two beanie hats which I wear to this day, despite one being the best part of 25 years old.
Must have been a serial Burnley shirt purchaser down the years. Looking through the 90's and 2000's I haven't bought new shirts every year, but have purchased one for every one of the new sponsors apart from Premier Range.

Including tee shirts I have 9. The 2009/10 is still my favourite but the whole strip was brilliant (I don't buy the shorts and socks )

I have a suitcase in the loft full of them, right back from when I was a kid. I just can't bring myself to throw out a Burnley shirt.

Sadly, about 40. The oldest (not including retros) is the 1979/81 umbro, which still fits! The rarest is probably the 1982/3 third strip: White with light blue pinstripe.

However the boy has every home one since his first birthday, most of the aways too.

Usually gets it signed at the end of the season, and luckily has both the promotion team and the championship winning squad signed shirts.

50+, although I stopped collecting a few years ago so haven't bothered with recent away shirts. Got pretty much all home and away from 75 up to about 2012.

I have three t-shirts with various designs but the only shirts I have are some childhood ones (even the quartered shirt where the sponsor kept falling off).

Its amazing but I always forget that the t-shirts aren't lucky when we have lost and make sure I have one on each time we play. I mean, how lucky can it be when I wore it for the Lincoln match? I got there late, we lost, and I managed to re-wire the upstairs lights so that one room came on when I pressed the switch in another.... but next game it will be lucky again.

Five, the favourite being the short-sleeved claret one with the fine blue trim on the sleeve and BFC embroidered on it. The one we beat Citeh to take the Charidee Shield.

I have amassed 200+ shirts in the past 5 years, my aim is to have an example of every home & away shirt going back as far as i can. There are still plenty of gaps i'd like to fill, particularly from the pre-Endsleigh era. My favourite shirt is from the mid to late 70s, the claret shirt with the blue 'V' as it was the shirt being worn in the first match i went to. I'd be interested in purchasing anything from a single shirt to a whole collection. UTC

Somewhere between 20 and 30 bought the home and away every year for a while dug them all out not long ago they were all in a box. Washed them and my son wears them as PJs now didn't realise I had so many.

Monk hasn't started him in 2 of our games, the two games we have been woeful, I don't think that's a coincidence. He won't score many this year but he is providing the link between the midfield and the striker in front of him, I honestly think he will do well. He will be worth every penny if we can get promoted again!!

I have about 30,but when we had adidas shirts sponsored by p3 computers I got all 3,claret&able home,White claret&able,yellow&dark blue,still like new.

I've got 6 but only 5 fit me. Rather annoyingly I've lost my yellow and black striped away shirt from the mid 90s I'm guessing.

My lad had an old Villa shirt with all the Villa crap blotted out.

He got it from a charity shop in Brum.

I have about a dozen I think and I gave a few away to Bedfords quite a few years ago. I have one of the garish keeper shirts from 1995 ish that was given to me by Marlon Beresford at the end of the season, with the Football League badges on the sleeves (remember when we used to play in the Football League?) and I have recently acquired last season's shirt signed by the whole squad. That is going in a frame on my son's wall, alongside his Black away shirt from 3 years ago, with 10 INGS on the back. Danny kindly signed the shirt outside Upton Park after we were robbed at West Ham when Duff was sent off.

I've got a Burnley shirt - worn by a (then) Burnley player in a Championship game. It was given to me, still warm and sweaty, after the game, before the players boarded the team coach.

Mine appear to have shrunk, sometimes even before they are bought !!

Not as many as I use to have but probably have around 10 football shorts and the same amount again in training tops/ tshirts

Also got two signed ones in frames - my 2006/07 shirt thst Mrs W "stole" to get signed as surprise for our wedding day and last seasons away one signed as as gift for 10th anniversary

the last 3 shirts I have been bought were birthday presents, every single time we were relegated. I will no longer be accepting a Burnley top for my birthday nor will I ever purchase one !
