Derby v Hull

Post by bodge » Fri Sep 08, 2017 7:46 pm

Someone needs to tell Keogh that the Heinrich Himmler look is a shocker.

Tonight's game should be a good un.

1 - 0 Derby, Vydra free kick.

The Russian Darren Ferguson is not best pleased.

Not a bad fk.

Keeper might be a tad disappointed in himself.

Don't be surprised if Larsson goes to Eastern Russia in the next window after that penner.

Good interplay with Nugent there, no sign of Shacks the rascal.

Hull offloading their squad is costing them big time, awful concentration at the back.

Long season ahead.

Blimey. I had a couple of bob on a draw for this game! The score is a bit flattering for Derby but it's really not looking good for Hull (or any of the teams relegated from the Prem last year).

Hull were awful no pride ,passion or talent .Only one decent player and he got subbed. They have bounced back over the part few seasons. Can't see this hapening with a manager who seemed devoid of ideas.
What were their board thinking of appointing him
Another example of no nothing foreign owners being way out of their depth in English leagues.
Rovers ,Villa and Brum being examples of how to turn average clubs into flops with a series of bad buys managed by poor managers

Allam senior has lived in Hull since 1968 , Ehab was born there .. the Allams have pumped millions into East Yorkshire however they clearly have no idea how to keep a club that at best you would rate as a 2nd division side in the topflight ...

Are they really know nothing foreign owners or incompetent local business men meddling in football ? ... football is littered with the latter foreign or British ...

At least they are trying, which is more than can be said for the team.
When the pen was missed, I said out loud, "He meant that". Very dodgy.
