I saw it live but I've not seen any comment on it whatsoever but at the time I saw it I just assumed he would be facing retrospective action.

Chris Hughton said categorically it was unintentional. Laughable.

Hemed had squared up the full back earlier and saw his chance with the stamp and got away with it. Definite intent.

A ban will be coming his way, no doubt about that.

He looked to slip, only he will know if it was intentional.

It was a 100 times worse than the Barton incident at the AMEX

Was it worse than Barnes' stamp at the Amex?

Wonder if Brighton fans will be all over twitter for 3 months condemning the stamp?

I've just had a look on the Brighton board and they're wailing about Hemed's ban and about Barton.
This is an absolute cracker.............
If joey Barton had been banned for his stamp, we possibly would've been in the premier league last season. That was so 100% clearly intentional how the **** has Hemed been banned for this. Absurd.

Have they not realised yet that Joey Barton's was caused by their player lifting his leg at Barton?
Absolutely no doubt for me that Hemed should be suspended.

Needs stamping out. Brighton fans still bitter. It appears they've accepted that Barton was a very good player in that he was hugely influential in our promotion.

I really like Chris Hughton, such a shame he manages a good football club with such a jumped up fan bass. Give me Huddersfield fans any day of the week

Deluded idiots! I really hope when we play them Barnes dives and gets a penalty, I'd love to see him stomp on Hemed and it would be even better if he got away with it right in front of their fans.
We play them in April so it would be the perfect fit to send them down.
I don't care if he gets banned afterwards and if Barnes had the choice I'm sure he wouldn't either.

Rightly so Imo, I have only seen it once while watching the game it looked like he lost his balance and unintentionally landed on the player. I'm not sure how the FA can really ban players in circumstances where they cant say 100% he intentionally stamped.

It's soooooooo easy to stride over an opponent but Hemed chose not to do this, he'd rather make contact with the player............... GUILTY for me

It just backs up the theory that KBRFC in the main speaks utter tosh.

Not quite, just because some random football fan thinks it was an intentional stamp it doesn't mean it was. The only person who knows if it was intentional or not is Hemed himself and considering he's not going to admit if it was or not we will never know which makes the decision to ban him an absolute farce.

No player is ever going to admit to stamping/elbowing another player are they?

You seem to be suggesting it's a farce to ban him because he's not admitted whether it was deliberate or not. If that's the case then no player should ever be charged.
Btw, one thing is very telling in that straight after, he didn't even go up to the player to see how he was. If it was an accident don't you think he would have at least checked on the player?

I was suggesting its a farce to ban him given the FA cant be 100% certain its an intentional stamp not because he wont admit it was/wasn't.

Was Tyrone Mings ban last season a farce?
Re: Hemed stamp

The Mings incident also came after an earlier confrontation with Ibrahimovic if I remember correctly.
I too think Hemed deliberately stood on Yedlin (who looks a good player by the way). And as for Hughton's comment about 'knowing the individual' you can see with Hemed's approach to the game that he is one of those player's with a chip on their shoulder.
