Goodness me! I was there and remember that guy getting thrown out. There had been disturbances in the Gwladys Street for quite a while and then two or three were thrown out. I'm pretty certain it had nothing to do with Burnley fans and was a local issue.

Also a song called Sugar Sugar was Number One at the time. Looks like belly had more than a bowl full - maybe this is another reason why poor belly looks so despondent?

I remember going on a Special train , I think in 1974 . Train went to Kirkdale.

Remember a Claret being stabbed on way back to station. Other Evertonians headed for station but after news of the stabbing shall we simply say that Burnley struck first
