Whenyou look at someones whatsapp account and it comes up at the top as say Last Seen at 16.20 does that mean that person has looked at YOUR whatsapp account at that particular time?

Or could that person have looked at somebody else's whatsapp account at that particular time?

It's when they were last on WhatsApp

Online just means they are currently on WhatsApp. That could be talking to someone else. When you have sent a message 2 ticks will appear in the bottom right corner of your message. When these ticks turn blue it means the person has read your message.

So Online means they are currently on Whatsapp so surely Last Seen at 16.20 MUST mean the person was looking at the messages we have exchanged .

Whatspp Online and last seen tell you if your contacts are online, or the last time they were using WhatsApp. Online means that contact has WhatsApp open and is connected to the internet. However, it does not necessarilymean they have read your chat. Last seen refers to the last time the contact used WhatsApp.

I'm led to believe 1 grey tick means the message has been sent 2 grey ticks means 1 or more people have read your message and 2 blue ticks mean everyone in the group has read the message

1grey tick means message has been sent but not received by everyone in the group 2grey ticks mean everyone in group has received but not all read 2 blue ticks mean everyone in group has received and read message

She's not replied to you then ?

If you click on, and hold the last message, a sub menu appears at the top and you can see when your message was read and by who at what time

But keep in mind, they could have connected to the Internet, then disconnected, and THEN opened Whatsapp.

This will mean they've opened Whatsapp, read a message, but the 2 ticks will remain grey, until they go back online.
