They said 24 on tv, but other sources said 23. I might go back and count them.

I remember in the 60s a Don Revie Leeds team being shown for multiple passes up to a goal, think ours was better.

"Long ball my @rse."

To be fair that's all we seem capable of at times - Huddersfield last week.

Other games we can play some really nice football. First halves against Chelsea and today in particular.

Maybe it's tactics, the opposition must have no idea what to expect.:-)

Brilliant goal. Possibly my favourite Burnley goal.

Just everything about it was brilliant. But the cross field pass from Brady to Ward was absolutely superb and I'd say the difference between that move, and so many of our moves against Huddersfield last week when the only switch of play I can remember came from Tarskowski. It gave us the reward for moving Everton around so cleverly in the first 15 or so passes, by opening up the left hand side of the pitch.

Such a sweet move.

Just got back. Put the halftime on. Its all Evertons fault. Williams especially. How do these pundits make a living? Carragher says we play 442!

Not dissimilar to the Barnes goal vs Wigan. Outstanding.

Key difference is the opposition, and the fact we were on TV. How far we've come

We hit the two best passes in the game today, Brady's to Ward was an utter peach and Tarky's drilled ball to our left flank in the second half showed the ability he has.

I guess the term 'long ball' will still be used despite this. By all accounts they were waxing lyrical, nay; almost orgasmic over it on my link!

Just seen the goal (the whole move as I'd seen the fan's video of it before).

Koeman won't be a happy bunny but he must have thought he was back in Amsterdam.

A memorable and classy goal in the modern era of football, what a slick and technically adept goal.
The final touches were wonderful, Everton were unable to intercept any of the passes, then we scored. That was beautiful.

Eh let's give bast-ards some credit too.

Against Eckleston Rovers (or some other team I'm not heard of in division 9) they put together a move consisting of 3 passes which led to a thrown in for them in a dangerous position just over the half way line.

Unfortunately I don't have a video clip of it - but maybe Sax can see if Harold from lower Darwen brought his camcorder to the game ?

Wasn't it a great piece of team play. Everton were too compact in their half, so we had to entice them out a little and create some space for us to move into. By keeping the ball and switching it between the middle and two sides, not only did we create the required space, we confused some of their players as to their correct positioning and the runners they should have been tracking. A tactical master piece executed perfectly.

1 minute 12 seconds of sheer football brilliance !

Had this goal been scored by Man U, Sky Sports would have shown it every 5 minutes since the goal was scored and every 5 minutes for the next 10 years. It would have been declared Goal of the Century and Moaninho would have been knighted !!

As it is, Sky Sports and others blamed the Everton players for not tracking back i.e. for not being able to keep up with the brilliant movement off the ball of the Burnley players and the goal has disappeared into the Sky Sports Annals.

When the goal of the month/season votes come round it will almost seem wrong to just put Hendrick's name next to it when it was such a collective effort.

Needs more than one trophy for that goal

Rightly so. League 2 defending. Koeman better improve it soon or the writing is on the wall.

just watched the build up to the goal on Clarets Player....and at the start of the move Lowton intercepts an Everton pass and the ball goes to Defour...so the 1st pass is Lowton to DFefour not Defour to Brady

surely it's 25 passes! :D

As far as I'm concerned, we could score every goal from a long keeper punt, target man flick on to striker and finish. That would do me fine.
