Mr Dyche has, quite rightly, earned well deserved, praise for his achievements during his tenure at our club.

How much goes down to his right hand man?

Genuinely interested in others opinions.....

Listened to an interview with him on Player and he comes across really well. Dyche is always quick to praise his staff.

I think it's an all round team effort right down to the tea lady to be honest.

I'm noticing similarities to another management team that had a certain amount of success.

Like Sean Dyche and Ian Woan, they did it with, what was at the time, an unfashionable team.

And like the Sean Dyche/Ian Woan partnership. They too, became synonymous with the club and it's fabulous successes!

... then they went down the road to their bitter rivals and had even greater success!!!

Indeed they did!

And they, like Sean Dyche and Ian Woan, had an eye for taking over looked players, and getting them to buy into their ideology.

Which was a team ethic - " minimum requirement, is maximum effort."

And eventually these previously overlooked players, were running through brick walls for the 2 of them!

Bardsley said on the radio the other night that our training regime has him feeling fitter than ever.

A lot of credit must go to all our training and coaching staff.

A great footballer, for sure. I was glad when I heard he was one of our staff.

I think the whole ethos of Burnley FC at the moment is pulling in the right direction.

It can't last for ever, but its great while it does!

Just for the general public would be a start, many people have all sorts of anger or personality issues, but I've always found common curtesy and manners a nice ice breaker, and go quite far regarding first impressions.

He is a loyal and trusted member of our manager's successful coaching staff. He is obviously having a big input into the team spirit and do you know what, I applaud him for showing passion and resentment when he hears unwarranted abuse from the experts in the stands behind him. It tells me he cares.

Absolutely. We have some real brain deads that follow our club. They can't keep their big mouths shut, even when we have the most successful team in my lifetime. Any mistake made on the pitch and these idiots are booing and shouting abuse. The booing I heard at the end of the Huddersfield match was disgraceful. I wish they would bugger off to Deadwood. We don't want them at our club.

As for "Moany Woany" him and SD seem a cracking partnership .i could be wrong but I'm sure there was a Woan (young lad) who Clough played in a cup final but perhaps a different guy or maybe SD knows him from those days? Off top of my head I think SD will have only encountered the great Brian Clough in his later "pitiful drunk " yrs but I v much stand corrected .Not a sadder site in the game seeing Clough in his last couple of yrs

I know it's a different era. But there are similarities.

CloughTaylors Forest and Dyche/Woans Burnley are gritty. No superstars. Turning good players into fabulous players. Prepared to run through brick walls for the gaffer. For 95 minutes. For each other. And in both cases, their respective teams, The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

He's being called the ginger morinho. But to me the Dyche and Woan duo, are far more closer to Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.

it was him.

loughran was also a youth player at forest with dyche and they both worked with dyche at watford.

billy mercer played with dyche at chesterfield but was here before dyche came in.

That's the same Ian Woan.

Dyche was at Forest as a youth player in the mid/late 80s, when they were still pretty successful. Don't think Clough's alcoholism really took hold until the early 90s.

I happened to be sat next to former Forest keeper Mark Crossley on the top table at sportsmans dinner and he spoke very highly of SD and IW.

What I did find interesting though was that he thought Tony Loughlan was the real brains behind it all. He described him as a 'genius'. Told me how he was a decent player in his youth but suffered an injury early and had basically studied football and sports science etc and was now one of the very best at what he does.

I'm learning something there. As you say, very interesting.

Surprised to hear any negative comments about Woany. He’s a completely different character to Dyche and I’ve probably spoken with him more often than Dyche. He will tell you he’s not a Scouser (he’s from the other side of the river) but he has a typical Scouse humour.

Tony Loughlan is a lot quieter in every way than the other two but equally as important. He’s a genuine good bloke who has survived being Roy Keane’s number two at Sunderland and Ipswich.

All three, four if you count Keane, were at Forest but Loughlan hardly played due to injuries.
