Isn't he suffering from kidney cancer and has had one removed but has it in the remaining kidney the poor man?
There is some fake news around about his death, denied by many on Twitter and such fake news is about as low as it gets

Re: Gordon Banks..
Remember yonks back now, circa 79/80 something like that, around Christmas/N year time, away game at Shrewsbury.
We lost that game. But Banks was sat directly behind us in the stand. Signed my prog.
We played Stoke later that week. He was watching us for them.
His accident had been a good few years before that, but there was still a lot of scaring to his eye.
Came across as a good guy. Willing to chat.
We asked him about 'that save' and he replied he really didn't remember how he did it, more about how it was spoken about afterwards.
Especially by Pele! He said he was a real 'Gentleman'
One of my boyhood hero's, l wish him well.

Wonder if you'd have the cojones to say that to the man.

An off-the-cuff joke and not a bad one at that. Those people getting all hot under the collar about it should direct their energies at things that really matter.conyoviejo wrote:No,but I'll keep my eye out for him
