He ran a trophy centre in Northern Ireland and then moved to Canada. Wasn’t there long and is back home in the Emerald Isle.

Brian O'Neil would have been in the last group which went on the Jimmy Mac Stand. They were Irvine, Coates, Casper, Dobson, James and Noble. I voted for Brian but he was eighth in that group behind Lochhead. So not sure why Trevor Steven is considered controversial.

You don't have to take things too serious, the smiley at the end was put there for a reason.

Maybe you can't remember the discussion on here when the players were chosen.

They weren't actually chosen, they were voted for. They will never agree with anyone totally but they were those with the most votes.

Looking brilliant again - any news on it the little lights could be added to them for the nighttime?

Would look quality, especially with it going dark earlier now again.

It's worth considering - a number of other things being looked at. Would have to consider the cost too I would think.

I know.

Chosen is the past tense of choose. We had a list of players to choose from, Trevor Steven among others were chosen the most.

Any road, enough of this tedious episode, I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.

Big thanks to whoever it was on the old message board who came up with this idea and to:

Adam Riding from the club who has done all the design
Aaron Diggle from Creation Signs who have made the boards and installed them
All the sponsors without whom we would not have been able to do this

I think it's a real shame that the claret and blue used is way, way off what it should be.

It's almost as though the person who's done it converted the pictures to black and white and then re-coloured them, rather than keeping the original colour.

Either that or they've never seen a Burnley shirt.

I think they look brilliant, well done to all those involved. Can't wait to see Tom, Joey et al in a few years on the back of our fifth stand when FA get round to having us play on pentagon pitches for the burgeoning Chinese market.

Amazing how things have changed since the vote in August 2015 when we were starting our Championship season. Now we have players who really should be on and will surely be included in any phase 4 we can do.

For the life of me I can't remember who it was but he suggested having a picture by each turnstile. That couldn't quite be done but it was that idea which led to what's been done.

Looking at them I'm convinced that what ever changes or little tweaks are made to the shirt each season. Claret and blue are bloody fine colours!

Brilliant, love them.....the ONLY reservation is that I’m old enough to have seen them all play and they fall in to the category of legends!

The shirt Trevor S is wearing, I wore the yellow version to the Milk Cup semi, and The World Cup in 82 v France when I was 20.........still got it in my box of shirts, cant get it over my head now let alone my belly!

Think I’ll go and Ava beer........

Slightly disappointed that my favourite ever Claret, Brian O'Neil didn't make the cut so to speak.

It was a pleasure carrying out this job for the supporters.
Most of our work at the turf is carried out for sponsors or the club itself so it was great to get involved with something fan based.
Thanks to Tony, Chris, Adam and anyone else involved in the project. It's looking fantastic so well done all.

Put my name down on the petition Juan.
Brian O'Neil was one of the greatest players ever to wear a Burnley shirt.
