It's taken a long time to get over the garbage served up last season and it's only got worse.

However, still manage to get to some games and have been to a few Dagenham and Redbridge games too.

Even more than that though, I have become a massive fan of non-league football and have been to loads of games in the NCEL Premier division. Following my local club Penistone Church? Before the last week I bet none of you had ever heard of us!! BUT NOW, now you've only gone and signed one of our players!!

Mr Jordan Barnett - he will be class for you when the time comes.

Hi Rejected, nice to have you back with us! Sorry to see Sunderland struggling so much at present - hopefully they'll sort things out sooner rather than later. Still a long way to go this season. Hadn't heard about us signing that player - I'm guessing he's a young lad? What position does he play? All the best!

He is a left back but can play anywhere down left.

Think he is about 17. You have given him a 12 month contract.

He is a top player and delighted he has been given a chance.

Yeah, honestly reckon we will go down again this season.

Barnsley are local professional side. Penistone are my local local side. Got an ex-pro (local lad) in as manager 9 years ago. Turned the whole club around. Promotion after promotion has got the club to the NCEL premier division (step 5) - the football is quality.

No, will never give up on the lads. Still been to a good few games and will be going to many many more.

Yeah, always on look out for next book material.
