Who says he hasn't already made his position clear with the players?

I just can't see it happening.....!!!! If Dyche was to go to Everton he could very well be unemployed and reputation destroyed by Christmas.....

If his position is that then he would have to have self doubts about his abilities to turn it around there. Most managers aren't known for self doubting themselves.

Pipe down, you daft creep.

He's stated his position about 20 times since he's been here. He's enjoying the job, he's focussed on the next game, and he won't be here forever.

Self doubting themselves is a tautology.

With speculation increasing, he really needs to say more this time I think.

Why does he?

What does he say - 'I am not interested in the hypothetical chance of leaving Burnley to manage a club that I haven't even been offered a job at?'

Aye alright

Not really. If he's interested he'll look at the situation. How long will it take to get his ideas across to the players and get them picking up results. I can't see him going at all. They've sacked Koeman 2 months into a new season after he lead them to a top 6 finish and into Europe. If he does leave then so be it. Burnley Football Club will still be here and that's all what really matters

He doesn't need to say anything.

It would ruin the tension that's building.

How would you feel if he left before your next game, having never added to those statements? Pretty ****** I'd say..?

Was there anybody else listening to Sat. game with Phil Bird and Alistair Cambell?

Cambell in touch with SD by text and SD stated that it is not happening.

RELAX evrybody.

His position is crystal clear once you remember he's on a rolling one-year contact. That's not a contract you have if you're 100% certain your future's at that club.
He'll do what he thinks is right for himself and his family, and that's all he should be thinking about when he decides. It's not like he owes anything to us. Anything he did owe he's repaid multiple times over, which is the first time we can say that about a manager since Cotterill. And if he does go I think every Burnley fan will be hoping he has success at his new club.

He should come out and state he'd like to speak to Everton and Leicester. He must want to, even if he decides to stay.

Right so what you are now saying is that Dyche should release a 'Come and get me' statement to Leicester and Everton and potentially West Ham and any other Premier League team?

What are you smoking?

Does Sean Dyche have WMDs in his basement by any chance?

How can he get a team Dyche fit after a week or two ? If he leaves it will be at the end of a season when he can get his own players in and get what he wants to keep Dyche fit.

No chance, they are hidden under the Barnfield Training Centre and there is a secret tunnel to Gawthorpe Hall as well 8-)

I don't think Dyche will say anything at present unless an approach is made
and then, as far as I know they have to approach the club in the first instance.

The club may turn down the approach and only if Dyche says he'd like to speak to them
will they relent and probably not before they've offered him more to stay.

Haha, he doesn't need to come out and say anything. He'd spend half his time doing that based on how many jobs he's linked with.

What a sad act..... there's a big wide world out there, go and see some of it instead of wasting your life, posting nonsensical drivel and poor troll bait on here.

He doesn't have to do anything. Just because some people's sphincters are twitching isn't his fault.
Every job that's come up in the last two years he's been made favourite for, he hasn't taken one yet. I should imagine he's sick of being asked.

One thing that stood out for me from that interview with Mee and Tarkowski was how matter of fact they were when discussing the manager's future:

'He will go one day but not yet' Ben, particular seem very confident about this.

Sean doesn't listen to outside noise, and tells his players the same.

The man only deals in facts, he believes there is no point discussing If's, But's and Maybe's

That's because I've heard on good authority, that the Brexit debate's main topic of discussion is Sean Dyche.

I think he has more integrity than to leave once the season is underway. I would have thought he would choose to leave end if season end of contract at a job done point in time.

We certainly do need him at Burnley. For Dyche to leave now half way through the season could prove to be disastrous.
Wishing him well don't think so Everton are one of our rivals.
Someone please explain what the difference is between what Coyle did and what might happen now.
Don't remember everyone wishing Coyle all the best at his new club.

Nothing really to come out and state if he hasn't been approached. If he goes mid season it will drop us in it. Everton are currently a rival so I won't be hoping he does well there if he does. I care about Burnley only. If he left at the end of the season we can have no complaints but I hope he is here for some time to come.
