I know you are my 'sworn enemies', but the treatment you are getting from the media disgusts me. Its like you've had your little bit of success, be grateful, and tottle off now back down the leagues where they feel you belong.

You wonder why I'm not the fan I once was. My disillusion began quite a bit before we left the premier league.

"... but if he keeps turning down these types of opportunities ... it might not come again at this level."

So which opportunities has he actually turned down John?

The Leicester fairytale too. The media couldn't wait to break up their team, selling off their players.

The media will always treaat clubs like ours in the way that they do because they do not want us in the PL at the expense of the 'big' clubs. Some of the 'smaller' clubs will be accepted because they are media darlings and have managers who are unwilling to upset the media, however, Sean has upset them several times because of his promoting English managers, which they do not like.
They would love SD to leave us and for us to fall into oblivion back to where they think that we belong.

Yup, I've heard him speaking on BBC Radio 5 iPlayer,

'eer, boyo, Sean Dyche should be allowed to Burnley if he wants to, he's worked miracles there', blah, blah foo kin blah.

another of the ar se licking BBC pundit gang who steal a wage stating the bleeding obvious and talking in clichés.

We've had Wright, Neville, Hartson et al supplying us with their insightful thoughts, (thanks lads, go and gets yourselves a nice lie down after all that thinking).

Pundits are like sheep. The more I hear from them - the more they all sound the same.
It reminds me of when everyone was canvassing for Harry Redknapp to be England manager. Every British pundit seemed to say the same thing.
Carragher is one of few who seems to have a mind of his own - he thinks they should go for Marco Silva.

Can’t recall him ever “upsetting” them either.

Although in this case “them” might need defining.

If Hartson is saying that I’ve got to take him of the Christmas card list. He’s normally quite a sound chap, who has a bit more intelligence about his discussion.

I am getting sick of these 'opinions' about our manager and intimations about the relative standard of our club. It's about time somebody from our club spoke up against this constant disrespect. What business is Dyche's career to Hartson?

Two clubs panick and sack their managers before then end of October and so this means that Dyche should now step up into one of these places because he should recognise his chances before they disappear. He's done 'a good job at Burnley' so go somewhere that matters.

Hartson - go stuff and yourself you fat tw@t!

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I assume Everton will stay loyal to the legend that is Duncan Ferguson. Cant see SD wanting to have the big fella as part of his staff.

I detest wright most of all, its as if he'd choke if he so much as had to say our name usually, now the dyche thing is all over the shop, big mouth no nowt chips in with confidence.
hartson stating bleeding obvious as per normal too.
Little cess pit of same old pundits spouting gibberish and being arrogant.not one with an original viewpoint.

Dyche should stay, keep us in the top half, sign more quality in January, sign a new contract, finish top half, walk off the pitch last match off the season and stick 2 fingers to the Premier League “big club gang” and enjoy in the knowledge his job is secure ....

Oh and enjoy a The Players Awards Dinner as usual!

It usually works like this.....

A sport/football show on radio or tele ask their guests questions about current topics of conversation.

The guests answer them questions with their personal opinions.

The End.

Maybe BOT but it's the same old, same old and getting beyond tedious.
A good point made further up this thread as to why non of these 'expert' are coming up with suggestions to who would replace Sean Dyche should he leave.
No one likes us, who gives a flying ****?

But they haven't been asked that question.

It's the same when Dyche has been asked questions by the media, now Leicester, Derby, Boro etc fans hate him.

It's only tedious because some on here have gone looking for it.

Has Dyche actually been offered another job since he has been with us? I'm not even certain he is first choice of either Everton or Leicester. I've heard Tuchel, Puel, Unsworth and Ancelotti might be above him in the pecking order. That slightly concerns me, because if he feels he's not being offered jobs, then he might jump at the first one that comes his way. At least if he was being offered jobs, he could be more inclined to turn them down

I've made a complaint to the BBC about this latest drivel regarding Sean Dyche. It is pure sh*t stirring with no journalistic standard other than base opinion with little insight as to the situation i.e. Sean Dyche should just leave Burnley at the height of its success 'because he might never get another such opportunity.'

As such jobs come up over and over each year, there is not even THAT basis to make the comment, notwithstanding his complete lack of experience both as a player and as a manager of big club day-to-day concerns.

There has been no reasoned argument, just base hyperbole for a cheap story to fuel 'addiction to media,' by the BBC. It is supposed to be the the greatest level of broadcast journalism not the worse, as the flagship of English shared media culture.

The ones asking the questions are the media and are complicit in this. They know what they're doing, believe me.

At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what the pundits think. Dyche is his own man and do what suits him.

I don’t see the point in getting upset about what are, viewed objectively, perfectly reasonable opinions. Generally I quite like Hartson.

Dyche has spent a lot of time in the press promoting the Dyche Brand, it's hardly surprising that when jobs come up and Burnley are successful that he's going to be linked to them.

Dyche has never hidden his personal ambitions. In order to fulfill them starts with being successful with us, which he’s delivered in spades. If now is the time to move on so be it. All of us would have taken the current scenario in a heart beat five years ago.

The media will always try and influence things . Unfortunately for them it is their job to report the news not try and create it . What will be will be and Hartsons opinion will have no bearing on whether Dyche stays or walks . The only thing certain is that bfc will continue with or without him . Whilst we have enjoyed some success under Dyche he is not irreplaceable . We have been in the top division for numerous , sustainable periods before sky ‘invented’ football. Sky might do well to remember that when looking down on clubs like Burnley, Bolton , Rovers and Pne . The way they speak about us and clubs like Huddersfield in comparison to teams like Sunderland etc whose trophy collection pales into significance in comparison is chuffing laughable .
