The man's BFC through and through. He is a giant and I know he makes the odd mistake but I really think he helps his CB partner tick.

Mine too. He is consistently under looked. Sees so much in the game.

Doesn't let us down. Loved him ever since he chucked his head in front of the ball vs Reading. Defensively sound and puts his body on the line

Said since the day we signed him he's the best defender at the club. He was always going to move inside from full back eventually and was always going to be captain at some point. However, the reason he's overlooked is because of the occasional error. Nobody bothers to look at the 10 magnificent performances inbetween those errors. Long may it continue. I think Keane is missing him for starters. He's crucial for us, absolutely crucial.

A player who unlike so many others in so called better teams, gives his all for the cause week in week out. That attitude is spreading to quite a few others in the Clarets team as well. We may not be the best technically but boy do we graft hard for each other.

He's rubbish
He's not really, but we can't have a thread without someone being negative !
I absolutely love Ben Mee to bits, encapsulates everything about Burnley Football Club. I'll be absolutely gutted the day he leaves.

Sshhh. When i and many others suggested on here that Mee should move inside from left back, they were repeatedly shouted down. One of the comments was on the lines of 'Ben Mee considers himself a left back so that's what he is'. Amazing how our season and those since have transformed since he moved to centre back. But what do i know. ......

As I said in Dec 2015 he's not a centre back-ok I admit I was a shade wrong on that comment

Odd how people used to say he wasn't a centre back because he was centre back when he was captain of City's youth team when they won a cup.
He's class, quietly gets on with the job and some of his positioning last night was just brilliant.

He's certainly not a PL left back!! But was excellent last night. Slightly edged out by Tarks for MoM for me. But I'd like to think he'll be our CB for years to come.

The rock on which this side is built, and to think some on here thought he should ply his trade in League 1.

Seems like a few people agree with me. His interception in the box in the 2nd half was class.

As has been said before you do have to wonder how much confidence he gives the other CB's playing with him.
You only have to compare Keane and Tarks this season to see what he brings to a defense apart from his own play.

1 minor slip up last night that came to nothing. Can't complain at that.

Must be one of if not the best signing of ours in the last 10 years
