Tickled me. If Wilshere could get in a side on 19points he might get selected before Jack, who has played every minute for a team on 19points

Sad and pathetic, but then what do you expect from Gooners. They still believe they are premiership contenders.

Re: Arsenal fans reaction
Southgate should pick his whole squad based on who had a decent game against Barcelona about 7 years ago.
Re: Arsenal fans reaction
If you want a balanced view on football don't listen to Arsenal fans. Sour bitter losers. They are the biggest whingers of any club. Jack Wilshere is just the type of player I don't want to see called up (Because he's been called up in the past). He did not pull up any trees at Bournemouth and has done Jack sh*t since and that's when he's fit.

I'm not a fan of southgate, but he's at least said "look, the ****** gets injured getting off the team bus and thats why he's not in the squad"*
*what he should have said obvs

When I read the article I thought it was a spoof; so ridiculous it reads like that to me.

What is even sadder is that they had to resort to blatant cheating to beat us.
I couldn't think of anything much sweeter if we were to beat them fairly and squarely. With Jack Cork getting a hat trick.

Sh1te club, sh1te fans. Compare Spurs fans to them and generally they are very complimentary about us and appreciate the stature of our club etc. They are a bitter bunch Arsenal (add Chelsea to that as well)

Arsenal will be lucky to finish in the top six in this campaign, dont like em at all, a bunch of cheats, they fall over at the slightest touch and roll about like their in agony, as for mesut ozil, he must be the biggest baby in the game, overpayed, overrated and he still wants a wage increase the greedy sod,and what of their fans? a set of whinging tossers who only cheer on their team if they are winning. unlike our loyal supporters, win or loose we still get behind our wonderful clarets.

Re: Arsenal fans reaction
I’d consider Jack Wilshere as someone who should be a solid England player, if he were a regular starter at literally any club. Unfortunately for both myself and Jack, he’s made out of ******* Weetabix

Arsenal fans....meh, what a bunch of fluffy fan-nies. They float up and down Islington high street, blissfully eating goats cheese panini's, oblivious to the fact there's is a big bad world out there.

Re: Arsenal fans reaction
Seriously, and I truly mean this, I wouldn't swap our Jack for their Jack.
Wilshere is a good player, and three years ago I would've snapped your hand off to bring him here, but he's just not robust enough for the English game, and not consistent enough for our game. Technically he's a decent player, but i'd much rather have Cork in the middle of our midfield.
Arsenal, and their arsewipe fans, can shag off.

I think Bournemouth are missing him since he went back off loan.

Re: Arsenal fans reaction
Bournemouth are deffo missing Whilshire, their form has plummeted since he went back to arsewipe, a good player on his day but dosnt seem to have many of them, injury prone too, and not a patch on Corky
Re: Arsenal fans reaction
I do agree somewhat, Wilshere is easily the best English central midfielder when he's fit. The only problem is, he cant prove his fitness for a sustained period. Shelvey is probably the best central midfielder but Cork deserved that place ahead of any of the options.
Re: Arsenal fans reaction

I love goats cheese paninis, especially with a bit of chilli jam and a packet of sea salt and balsamic vinegar crisps. I did live in north London for 15 years and my wife is a gooner though...50 shades of Grey wrote:Arsenal fans....meh, what a bunch of fluffy fan-nies. Wilshere, at his best, is Englands best attacking midfielder. Perhaps.KRBFC wrote:I do agree somewhat, Wilshere is easily the best English central midfielder when he's fit. Good point about Shelvey his form should have him somewhere near that squad.
It looks like Jack will get a run out, possibly in both matches we are so light on CMFs. It will be interesting to see how he shapes up. Having come through every age group I can't see him letting himself down.

Re: Arsenal fans reaction
I don't think anyone disagrees that a fully fit Jack Wilshire is Englands best attacking midfielder.
Problem is, that was some time ago and if he can't get in ahead of Alex Iwobi, then just how good is he anymore?

Wilshere is as deloutional as Arsenal fans are with his idea he's going to the World cup as part of the squad .His injury record is on a par with another ex England international. Sicknote Anderton another North London "ledgend".

And 'Sicknote' Anderton played over 450 league games. Wilshere has yet to reach 150 and he's 26 in January.

Re: Arsenal fans reaction
Putting his injury record aside, Wenger has a bloody cheek telling Southgate that Wilshere should be in his squad, when he himself isn't giving him much of a game!

He's definitely not better than Dele Alli for me which is why I said central midfielder.Lancasterclaret wrote:I don't think anyone disagrees that a fully fit Jack Wilshire is Englands best attacking midfielder.
