I've not highlighted any answers to make it more difficult for people to accidentally spoil it for themselves, aren't i considerate you c**ts?

There's at least one i can think of that can be replaced with the another team. And some might be wrong.

The sun shone Brighton the day we set sail for Hong Kong and the ------- , on board an ancient wooden ship which had a Hull riddled with holes.
The Crewe was made up of Scots, Welsh and others of the Celtic race. The cabin boy was a pleasant lad and one of his duties was to Stoke the boiler. He won our ------- by practicing his ------- all alone as if sent to ------- .
On the whole the ------- was good for the family and the Wednesday?? rest did my Motherwell as she had not had a holiday Forfar too long.
At last we docked in the Newport just outside the ------- and without further delay Preston for the Palace which was the residence of the hawaiian monarchy.
The Queen of the South greeted us with a friendly ------- (as is the custom), and immediately took us to visit a Newcastle which she had just completed.
On the way we went though the ------- which was looked after by the ------- dressed in Forest green. Their job was to keep the fierce Wolves under control. They were paid in Stirling for doing so, which they used to Bury for safe keeping.
All was not affluent in this land and we noticed an old factory through a Brechin the ------- .
Later we returned to the ship to have tea, ------- cake, ------- buns and some ------- which has been stored in the coldstore before we set sail.

I've copied yours Imploding Turtle and added/changed a couple to what i had.

The sun shone Brighton the day we set sail for Hong Kong and the Orient , on board an ancient wooden ship which had a Hull riddled with holes.
The Crewe was made up of Scots, Welsh and others of the Celtic race. The cabin boy was a pleasant lad and one of his duties was to Stoke the boiler. He won our Hearts by practicing his Reading all alone as if sent to Coventry- .
On the whole the ------- was good for the family and the ------- rest did my Motherwell as she had not had a holiday Forfar too long.
At last we docked in the Newport just outside the Portsmouth and without further delay Preston for the Palace which was the residence of the hawaiian monarchy.
The Queen of the South greeted us with a friendly Alloa (as is the custom), and immediately took us to visit a Newcastle which she had just completed.
On the way we went though the Forest which was looked after by the Rangers dressed in Lincoln green. Their job was to keep the fierce Wolves under control. They were paid in Stirling for doing so, which they used to Bury for safe keeping.
All was not affluent in this land and we noticed an old factory through a Brechin the Millwall .
Later we returned to the ship to have tea, Dundee cake, Chelsea buns and some Oldhamwhich has been stored in the coldstore before we set sail.

The most convoluted one to me is where you've put Wednesday. There are a couple of alternatives and you've used one that reads better than the one I have.

The errors, to my version, in bfcmiks post11 are:
Stirling rest, Stirling is correct lower down.
Newport and Portsmouth, why would the Newport be outside the ports mouth?
Palace is Crystal Palace but passes.
Forest, although it is feasable.
