I'm rewatching season 2 in preparation. Is it good? Please tell me it's good.

Blew my f*cking mind that episode, incredible.

Couldnt sit still the whole hour and then a flawlessly executed twist to finish.

And we're only half way!

I'm watching the new Detectorists, can it be better? After series 2 of the detectorists Game of Thrones was an anticlimax, John Snow, who is he, the bast@rd?

S3, and the most recent two episodes (5 & 6) in particular, are making the 'faults' of S2 very, very forgivable because in hindsight S2 has been used as an almighty set-up for the rest of the story. So much of S2 felt like off-the-cuff writing at the time but it's all falling into place. Last two episodes (the most recent in particular) left me floored.

Me too! Felt like a season finale episode.
