X Factor’s Chico and his appearance at the Turf.

“What time is it?”

“Time to go...”

I think this may be more difficult than Q.

X denotes a score draw on the coupon - so how about the great comeback from 4-0 down to draw 4-4 at Spurs in 1960.

Xcitement. The rise and rise of the mighty Clarets.
What makes it even better is the seesaw ride of us going up in the air whilst the lard arses down the road are sat on the deck.

Two players from my youth with 'x' in their surname. Albert Quixall from Manchester United and Roy Gratrix from Blackpool.

Definition: n. 'An idyllic, beautiful place'.

OK, calm down, i know linking Burnley and Turf Moor with an idyllic, beautiful place is pushing it, but we're a bit limited with the letter X.

Anyhow, I grew up playing around Brownside/ Worsthorne and my (clouded) memories are of an idyllic place. And walking down Brunshaw Road as a kid seeing and hearing the Turf at the bottom of the hill was just beautiful, and still is.

The player who was going to sign for us until we agreed a deal with Jack Cork

This may not be entirely factual

xg - expected goals. If points were allocated by expected (rather than good old fashioned actual) goals, we would be bottom of the Premier League

X marks the spot. Penalty spot some good ones best possibly Alexander's against Reading.
