Season ticket upgrade

Post by longside72 » Sat Nov 25, 2017 1:20 pm

Just been on the phone to upgrade my sons season ticket ( under 22 ) to an adult for tomorrows game only to be told you can't upgrade on the day of the game . When i explained the game is tomorrow thats why im ringing today , the woman just said sorry ticket office is closed , go to the ticket office tomorrow and see if they will upgrade it ( after she had just told me they won't on day of game ) !!!!!
Anybody know if it will be possible to upgrade , its for my uncles 65th birthday dont want him getting thrown out for pretending to be under 22 :D

A concession is a concession. Over 65 is the same as a childs ticket.

My Dad went down yesterday to upgrade a child's ticket and was told he would need to pay full price of an Adult ticket plus a £5 administration charge. One empty seat tomorrow unfortunately.

To do that you have to pay adult price plus £5 admin fee minus a nineteenth of season ticket cost.

For example, if upgrading from senior, if in Bob Lord or Longside Upper it is £40 + £5 - £14 = £31

Just go on with the ticket as it is. I’ve never heard of anyone being refused entry or even stopped for using a season ticket that’s not theirs.

Maybe give the ticket office a call in the morning.

It's 2017, why can't this be done online automatically?

I used to upgrade my lads ticket (under 18's) when he couldn't make the games, i sit in the JHU and the amount refunded is £5 but to upgrade to another age category costs a £5 admin charge.

So now i get the person who wishes to sit with me to buy a ticket in the wings (which is cheaper than the centre) and sit in my son's empty seat. It's cheaper but deprives a supporter of seeing the game when it sells out.

Great thinking BFC, infact i hardly ever bother upgrading anymore after the stupid ruling was brought in a few seasons ago and just leave the seat empty when he can't make the games.

I've had an u18 season ticket for as long as I can remember ..... I'm 28. The best way being honest and nobody ever checks - never had a problem going to away games either.
