He's probably going to leave Arsenal in the summer, doubt he will be fit enough to be a first choice pick, although I suspect Southgate will still take him to Russia.

Effortlessly ghosted past Hendrick within minutes of coming on and almost resulted in a goal. He's an option England will consider if he's playing regularly and rightly so. If he ain't playing there's not even a conversation to be had. He needs to leave Arsenal asap.

Even Bournemouth dropped him. Must hold the record for most money per minute played in history. Second only to RVS, obviously.

He reminds me of Joe Cole. On his day when fit could change a game with his skill. Only ever really happened every now and then.

Totally agree.

Why is he so hated? Decent player and if it wasn’t for injuries, which have definitely hindered his progress, he’d be a regular in the Arsenal side.

Not sure what he's done to justify some of the venim on this thread.

Personally no sure he has got what it takes. There has been a few spells in his career when he looked great. But he had a poor season on loan at Bournemouth last year.

He now gets picked with the reserves on a Thursday night Europa league game - plus the odd sub appearance at the weekend.

He'll go in the summer I think

I would swap him for Hendrick in a heartbeat. Perhaps he needs some Dyche "conditioning" to bring out the very best of him.

If arsenal get shut in summer would love us to be in for him. Dyche fit he would be sublime for us.

Provided Dyche remains, Burnley could be a very good move for him. What Sam did for JJ okocha, Dyche could do for Wilshire.

Was JJ Okocha an injury prone barely fit player before he joined Bolton?

As for wages, unless he stays at Arsenal he won't be getting paid that well again, he simply isn't worth it if all he's good for is cameo appearances.

He will never beat Winston Bogarde though who spent 3 years doing nothing but train at Chelsea after refusing to play pretty much.

I think Chelsea's current longest serving player beats them all. A guy named Matej Delac, hes been there for 8 years and still hasn't made his debut.
