The goals that we concede and who to score our goals

Post by clarethead » Mon Nov 27, 2017 4:20 pm

The goals that we are conceding seem to be route one or dodgy penalties. We are really are massively improving our play and teams are having a hard time coming to the Turf and opening us up. West Brom and West Ham scored from crazy high balls, and the Arsenal yesterday, although a travesty, needed a helping hand from the Ref... same at Citeh.

I am always worried that we have been doing so well against the lower teams at home and I was worried about being found out when the so called top six come to town and how we would cope. The 4:4:1:1 system/framework we employ stifles the opponent, but also limits our opportunities and so we need to take our chances when they come along. I wonder when Nakhi Wells will get a run out and what type of team he'd be on against? Wood, big Sam and Ash all have significant and suggested roles to play, but when will Wells be needed?
