Ok here’s the scenario. You have a pound to play whatever you want on the ultimate pub juke box 5 tunes only and no interruptions. My five are:

Do you remember the first time - Pulp
Live forever - Oasis
There is a light that will never go out - the smiths
I am the resurrection- the stone roses
Slight return- Bluetones.

All say something to me about my life (to misquote Mozza). What are yours?

Like a lot of these threads the choices could be different each day however as a start,

Go Now - Moody Blues, The track that first really got me interested in music.

Stairway to Heaven - no explanation needed

The way it is - Bruce Hornsby and the Range - because this explains our lives

Who knows where the time goes - Sandy Denny (version with Fairport Convention), Simply a fantastic track.

Sky Blue and Black - Jackson Browne

As I said there would be a different list tomorrow but Go Now would still be on it.

Now, is this the old 45 vinyl droppers or a CD jukebox? If it's CD I'm getting my moneys worth.

Suppers Ready - Genesis (22.58)
Sister Ray - Velvet Underground (17.29)
In-A-Gadda-da-vida - Iron Butterfly (17.05)
2112 -Rush (20,33)

Be a great pub atmos as well. Just me and the bar staff.

Your picks aren't the problem; I know the tunes.
It's the swines who pick tunes that to me appear obscure.
